Who said she doesn't see him as Locke? She just said that it wasn't John, it was her friend. She probably just knows that he isn't really Locke. The same way several of the others do.
LOST is a fictional television show airing on ABC. HTHWhich character on LOST do you think you're the most like and why? Also, if you were a character on LOST, who would you get along with the most? The least?Would you try to get off the island? Would you want to live there? Do you believe in fate or free will?
Do you want me to write "HYPOTHETICALLY" out in big letters for you, kupcho1? Can't tell ya. But hi did think of wargames when I saw itCan't take credit for it but do you think there was any significance to the tic-tac-toe game (ala Wargames)?
If not exact, something similar to thisAny chance that Ben/Charles scene is in the alternate universe with the two men being controlled by Jacob/MIB.
Oh, I got it. Didn't want it, but I got it.Take it to the fan fiction forums bub. This is the thread with hard hitting analysis ONLY. We don't have time for digressions. The show opens with a close-up on his eye, the show ends with the camera closing in on a "puddle"...and as it gets closer, you can make out the island within Jack's DNA.I bet he bones her in the flash sideways thing. In fact, I hope that's the final scene in the show.I'm a little surprised he never ended up kissing/falling for Claire before finding out they were related. This whole thing is going to end up with Jack fighting his father, isn't it?![]()

i doubt it: DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Despite the title, this episode is Sayid centric.I just read over on the Lost forums that tonight's episode will be Walt-centric.![]()
Oh, God I hope so.I was thinking with the episode title it'd be Sun-centric. I don't think I've ever been disappointed in a Sayid-centric episode.i doubt it: DarkUFO (Spoiler source): Despite the title, this episode is Sayid centric.I just read over on the Lost forums that tonight's episode will be Walt-centric.![]()
Could be. Or maybe Sun goes down?Sundown? Sayid's death?

Well there goes my 409 day streak of not having a Gordon Lightfoot song in my head.Sundown? Sayid's death?
I was kinda hoping to get a shot of Kate flossing.Do you think the actors ever take a look at the scripts are are like... "oh good god this is just downright terrible... really?"or do they not give a damn because they're getting paid?at least i got some confirmation today that in the 12th episode they'll be showing jack in bernard's dental office.. the long awaited "dental" scene.massive thread about it over on the dentaltown forums.... someone was talking about them filming in his office.
sweet. Makes sense, Jack mentioned in Season 2 that he never had his wisdom teeth pulled.Do you think the actors ever take a look at the scripts are are like... Tom: Hey, you got yourself a fish biscuit. Now how'd you do that?Jack: I figured out your complicated little gizmo.Tom: It only took the bears two hours.Jack: How many of 'em were there?Tom: You really shouldn't eat them. They are hard on the teeth.Jack: No worries. By the way, did I ever mention that I have never had my wisdom teeth pulled?
The "reset" would have been from the time the bomb went off. A lot of things would have changed because of that, not just the plane crash. That's what they are trying to show us.Going back to the whole two different timelines thing. It seems most of us are thinking that the "reset" was set when the plane didn't crash. Couldn't the reset be as far back as when Jacob first visited that person, which guided their decisions up to getting on flight 815?
I think it's pretty much accepted that the reset was a result of detonating the bomb in the season finale last year. That blew up the island, sunk it (as we saw) and that meant there was no island/Desmond/numbers when 815 flew from Australia to LA.Going back to the whole two different timelines thing. I'd have to agree it has to do with darkness considering last week's "Lighthouse" episode was about.....well you know.I'm going to go ahead and say sundown = darkness is coming. Probably fits in nicely with unlocke (and claire?) making their way to the temple.
i wish i'd never started watching this show.if i wasn't pot committed I would quit it big time.Tuesday night LostBonerTM activated.

I don't think it's safe to assume that the bomb detonation sunk the island. It's not an unreasonable conclusion, but I don't think it's a safe conclusion either, and I believe the producers even said something to the effect of we don't know exactly when the island ended up underwater. What I'm saying is that while the detonation obviously reset the island to some degree by merging the two island timelines we dealt with last season of 1977 and 2004/5, we don't know what it did off-island.I think it's pretty much accepted that the reset was a result of detonating the bomb in the season finale last year. If they continue following the pattern from Season 1, tonight should be about ...Sundown? Sayid's death?
This is interesting but I think Hurly blows that theory up. Didn't he meet Jacob after he returned as one of the Oceanic 6?I don't think it's safe to assume that the bomb detonation sunk the island. What we know of Jacob is that after he visits someone, that person makes a series of life-choices that leads them to the island. What I'm positing is that while the bomb reset the island, perhaps it reset quite a bit more than that off the island -- resulting in Jacob not visiting the possible candidates and then ultimately not ending up there in the alternate timeline.
Is that any more clear?

He did provide answersOf course they had to kill Dogen off, there was a chance he could have provided answers.
Its better that Dogen and Lennon are dead. Not enough time for the writers to invest in developing new characters.Of course they had to kill Dogen off, there was a chance he could have provided answers.
I can agree on that. but I just wish they would have took Kate out with them. When she conveniantly got down the well, I was yelling at the screen. Was really crossing my fingers that Smokey would murder her.Its better that Dogen and Lennon are dead.
