I agree that it looks more perpindicular in this one, but if you notice, this inversion isn't even the same picture. Notice Walt is looking down in the inversion. I guess it could be, but in the other picture, which again could be showing a bent/distorted fuselage, it doesn't look as perpindicular and I don't know what the person that created the inversion had to do to make it look like that. We will just have to agree to disagree until we really find out.Even if this is a mark, I think we know, based on the producer's comments, that the survivors weren't just random people and we know DHARMA had a lot to do with the island's current state. I think when we find out, we are going to be hit over the head with it. We will see Desmond or Dr. Degroot sabotaging the electronics and then paragliding onto the top of a stealth fighter that has been following the plane all along.If you look at the inversion, you can see that the top line and the right side line are perpendicular to each other. That wouldn't be the case in a hexagon. Hence, its an octagon.FYI, I work in the pentagon, so I'm a -agon expert.

I wouldn't classify this as a spoiler, as I can't possibly believe that this is footage from the actual show. Apparently, this is being shown in Britian... I guess its some sort of promo.
-ETA- could potentially be a spoiler. I guess. I can't tell. But if you click the link and watch the video and then it ends up being part of tonights show, don't get mad at me.

No body ate anybody. The Others broke off from the back of the plane group. Were there 8 in that group that were originally 23... this would make sense now that 15 broke off from the group. Concrete being poured was last seen in Chernobyl. I dont think there is a nuclear reactor but whatever it is it has magnetic pull. They should start breaking that concrete up to see what is going on.

During the previews from next week there was the black guy from the second group saying "you don't know what they are capable of"(paraphrasing no tivo here) next they flash a pciture of a body that seemed to have a large stake through it. I am assuming that means someone has been killing the survivors on that side of the island. Maybe the Others?

Enjoyable episode. It did drag a little at first but great character development and good mixing between sides of island and keeping the suspense on the back end. Odds are 6 bunkers are probably accurate. There was a symbol on the wall of the LOTF bunker. Loved the Bernad moment to close the show.

All the other main characters were at the beach, IIRC.There were more than 42 original survivors from the front half of the plane. One guy got sucked into the engine right after the crash, a girl drowned while swimming and Boone died. I believe there were at least 45 survivors from the front section of the plane, but for some reason the number 48 sticks in my head.
The LOTF group's hatch seems rather rudimentary in comparasin to the "Desmond" hatch. Could the main part of it have been sealed with concrete, similar to the one area of the Desmond hatch? I seem to recall that the LOTF group looked like they were digging at the wall in their shelter.
I also didn't see the impaled guy preview. All I can remember from the preview I saw was Sawyer asking Adebisi his name and Adebisi says "Mr. Echo"
I also found it funny that with so much discussion here, and probably elsewhere about the washer/dryer that it ended up in the script with Rose saying "it won't help wash these dirty clothes."
