If you look at the AICN link that someone provided earlier, then the odds on one of these folks is way off as they are the victim.
I know. I put them in the market in case anyone hasn't clicked the previous link
Is anyone accepting these bets? Cause there are 3 1000-1 bets that I would drop $10 or so on instantaneously.
Uh Oh. Looks like I wasn't cut out to be a bookie

'Lost' Star Perrineau Tailed By StrangersPOSTED: 3:57 pm EDT October 18, 2005UPDATED: 4:17 pm EDT October 18, 2005HONOLULU -- Mysterious things are going on around the cast of "Lost" off-screen as well as on.Last Wednesday, Josh Holloway and his wife were robbed at gunpoint in his home in Honolulu. The same day, two men followed Holloway's co-star, Harold Perrineau, for 20 minutes while he was driving to castmate Daniel Dae Kim's house.Perrineau's wife, Brittany, told the Honolulu Advertiser that her husband tried to shake the men who were tailing him, but he couldn't get away. The actor then pulled his car over and called Kim and told him to stay inside his house.Perrineau's wife said the car following them made a U-turn and sped away.Honolulu police are still investigating the Holloway robbery.According to investigators, a masked man confronted the couple and demanded money and took off in their Mercedes.

Why were there only 3 months of food left?  Is it odd that the group shows up to relieve Desmond when there is only 3 months of food left?  That pantry seemed pretty full for having only 3 months of food left.  Is it possible that it has been restocked many times since the experiment began?  Or am I just overanalyzing (hi shuke)?
You're overanlayzing. There are 40+ survivors. Three months worth of food for them would be (40x3=120) 10 years of food for a single person.
I thought Hurley said there was only three months of food for one guy left which was like not enough food for everyone. Maybe I am misremembering.

I think you're correct Gstrot - I remember them saying the same thing.

You guys are both correct. It would have been a little hard, even for stranded survivors to gorge down one month's worth of food a piece in one evening by the campfire. Hurley decided to do a one night shindig instead of trying to horde food that wouldn't be enough for one person to survive for a long time.Oh, and only 4 hours and 7 minutes left till we watch one episode and have to wait a few weeks for the next one. :hot:

Love to see a screen capture of that book Jin's buddy was reading from, I bet the numbers were written there in Korean.

What did Jin say to Michael near the water fall? I didn't hear what he said.
I couldnt tell either. I played it a couple times [tivo] but I just couldnt understand what he was saying. Anyone know?

six???  I counted 12!!!
Wasn't it the same sets of legs.....twice?
Well, it looked like it was edited pretty tightly. Right away when I saw them hiding I knew they would be showing the feet of the Others, and my first thought was to count them. They did like 2 or 3 pairs from Jin's point of view, and then when they cut to the other side facing Jin, I was watching for the same pair of pants or bare legs to walk by and it was pretty accurate...

...or they muffed up the whole editing job and we saw it both ways... ???

Yeah, caught that too...nice one...I kept looking for orange things too...I think the flower boutonniere was orange...

I was watching the legs closely and I noticed something. Watch the first two sets of legs go. The first one is wearing long brown/tan pants that are frayed at the bottom, the next person (appears to be a woman's legs) walk by. Now go to the last two pair of legs to walk by prior to the child? with a teddy bear. It is a person wearing long brown/tan pants that are frayed at the bottom, the next person (appears to be a woman's legs) walk by. No that was not a typo. The woman's legs are the same. Look at the inside calf on the left leg closely. The mud marks on the two legs are identical. Now the question is, was this mean to be intentional or did the producers just want to give the impression that there were alot of "Others" and just had the same people walk through the scene repeatedly.

This might bring the clone theories out of hiding again.

Comments?

I am losing interest in this show fast. The writers are so high on themselves they think they can keep flinging out crap that takes the plot nowhere and people will eat it up. This is more of a show about nothing each week than was Seinfeld.

Well, Game 4 of the WS is next Wednesday....then time to ramp up for November sweeps.
I could care less about the World Series and I am a HUGE sports fan. I would much rather see an episode of Lost. So that explains why we don't get an episode that week, but what about the following week? No WS then.I'm also pissed that they're denying me Sunday Night Football because of a pathetic World Series between two teams I could care less about. As for Lost, I agree that the episode was weak. There were some good moments, like Jin quitting his job and the interviewer telling him he smelled like fish.

why would that mean clones? If you and your clone hop in the mud, does the mud end up in the same places on both of you?

The premise of this episode was that people will find things when they are not looking for them.

Sun found her ring, Jin found love... Michael will find Walt when he is not looking for him.

Since Michael is looking for him he is not going to find him anytime soon.

Question - Is Kate with Sawyer or what? Sun mentioned it to Kate when she was asking about the bottle... whats up with that?
:goodposting: Re: Kate/Sawyer, it sure sounds like it....or wants to be anyway.

Could it just be that she felt bad for trying to #### him and get on the raft instead of him? She said she never got a chance to say goodbye and I would feel a little bad too if someone I just tried to screw might have just died. There was definitely some tension/feelings between the two, but I think she would still rather shag Jack, but just feels bad about Sawyer.

WORST.....

EPISODE....

EVER.....
 you grasp nothing about character development and such. Just give you action then. Excellent episode, great character development. Loved it myself.
Gridass gets a little hornary about this show. I am still not sure if he likes it or not. Anyone that has been watching this show from the beginning would still like it. Anyone that just watched the DVD/last ferw episodes last year and the first couple this year might think it was slow because Season 1 ended dramatically and Season 2 started off with so many answers and surprises.I liked this episode as well. I like how the weave in the back story and help you understand why people act like they do on the show and how they should act.

Someone above said it best, and Mr. Echo also said it, if you look for something you won't find it. Mr. Echo said that if the Others wanted to disappear and not be found, they could do that. Obviously, he has had some experience probably trying to track them at some point seeing as they were killing the tail-enders (only 5 out of 23 left).
