What would be the issue with adding tiny earpieces into batter helmets on offense as well as the catcher’s helmet for the field?  Allow one or two designated coaches to have the ability to communicate.  What’s the problem?  If the NFL can make it work with the QB, this should be easy. Mic gets cut when the player steps in the batters box.
