***official Monday Night Football thread*** (1 Viewer)

Huh...made a note to self to watch DeMarcus Ware on that very play. Pretty impressive

What thread do I post in?

I guess this one is ***Official***...
  jerramy stevens watch here...

also interested in roy williams in coverage - we know he's a beast against the run already

Ware looked very good on causing that fumble. Madden just got done saying that he thought Seattle had the best offensive line on the left side and Ware goes around and strips the ball. Very impressive.Cortez knocks the 44 yarder thru the pipes.

hass looks sharp.
Always liked H'back as a QB, seems like a perfect fit for the WCO. Too bad his rec's have had hands of stone, or one too many for breakfast on Sundays. :banned: Would anyone take him as their starter?

anxious to see this dallas d
I bet the current series is making you a bit less anxious. PUTRID defense (coverage, tackling, heck EVERYTHING)
its gonna be a long year - rookies or new starters all over the defense, and they're all learning a new scheme on top of that. one thing that really baffles me is why they would switch to a defense that nullifies their best DE - greg ellis. he's already talking about the writing being on the wall that he's gone next year. there's gonna be a ton of pressure on nguyen and roy williams to hold this unit together.

I hadn't hear the Bledsoe stat about throwing so few play action passes last year. Any idea why Buffalo wouldn't hgave used that more? It doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

he's been my #2 last couple years...has finished strong both seasons, used him as a starter then.

Yeah that surprised me too. McGahee obviously was providing a strong running game so you'd think they would've run plenty of play-action. The Bills have run play-action quite a bit so far in the pre-season with Losman. Odd they didn't do it with Bledsoe last season.

As was stated by many people predraft, Ware will be the best D player from this draft. Glad he's playing well on MNF.Colin

Diving interception by Ware out in coverage........that was awesome. Maybe someone besides him will start playing D on that team now. He looks like the real deal, no doubt.Note: Stevens for Seattle looks to be an important part of the offense this season. Bobby Engram also looks solid.

Agreed, it seems like you'd use it more with Bledsoe, since he is less mobile it would buy him a little time.
