***Official NFC Championship Game Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Smoker is loaded and smoking along with a pork butt and some elk sausage. The chicken is brining and will go in later. The grill is cleaned and ready to go as I like to finish the chicken on the grill after smoking. The beers are on ice. Looking forward with much anticipation.

My ribs are on hour 2 of the 3-2-1 method. The chili is ready, the wings are marinating, and Johnny Jollies (see the FFA thread) are all skewered. The only problem is that I'm going to be in the parking lot and I have no clue how I'm going to keep the food warm, let alone myself warm. :thumbup:

Time for a quick trip to a sporting goods store. If it's possible to be well fed out on the ice its easy to achieve in a parking lot.

But my friend who is now 13-0 going to see the Giants is NOT going to the game.

I can't believe the Pack are 1 game away. I am getting very nervous. It seems like 30 years ago the last time they were in the Super Bowl (I still have nightmare of that Broncos game).

I was up at 7:30am today. It's like I'm 7 years old on Christmas morning. I am excited, nervous, and can hardly stop moving around. My first beer is now going down. 5:30 is a long time away.

That game was never played. I have no idea what you are talking about. The streets of Green Bay are going to be completely dead at about 4:00 pm. Only cars will be delivery drivers and some women. I DON'T WANT TO WORK, I WANT TO BANG ON THE DRUMS ALL DAY!!!!

Really have no clue about this one. Could go either way. The cold weather could cause some balls to hit the ground but those things are pretty hard to predict.

I was the same way this morning. Running around like a little kid, not being able to sleep and getting yelled at by my wife to go back to bed...lol.GO PACK!!!!!!

Key to the game is how much pressure the Giants D-line can generate on Favre on non-blitzing plays. If they can consistently pressure him, it will be a close game; if not, Packers win comfortably.

I always like the underdog but I just want the Packers to win because they have the best shot at beating the Pats. Plus they dominated my team last week.
