This poll is majorly FLAWED

You forgot Andre Ethier and Russel Martin of LA. Both are very deserving of the award.

Etheir batted .308 w/ 11 HRs and 55 RBIs and was the everyday LF. His numbers may not match up but he has a major contributor to the Dodgers run to the postseason. He wont win but should at least be in the poll.

More importantly is Russel Martin, Catcher.

His numbers may not be as good as zimmerman, but he did hit .282 with 10 HRs, 65 RBIs, 10 SBs.

But beyond that is the rookie catcher helped LA's pitchers. LA's team ERA is ranked 4th in the NL. His team tied for 1st in the NLW (winning the WC on head to head w/ SD).

Not bad for a catcher in a pennant race.

Martin's handling of the pitchers in a pennant race as well as his numbers HAVE to add him to the list for consideration.

Went with Zimmerman, love the kids defense and he can hit as well. Sucks playing at pitcher friendly RFK too. Three of the five on this list were Marlins - yikes. Martin from the Dodgers should definitly be on the list.

Zimmerman was ultra clutch this year. I can't tell you how many 2-out RBI's the guy had, but it was a lot. 100+ RBI as a rookie is  He deserves the award, IMO. Uggla was big himself, but I think this should go to Zimmerman. Who will it go to? Probably Uggla.

Ethier would've been a good candidate had he played better in the last 6 weeks of the season. He fell off the map over the last 4-5 weeks.

You are missing Pittsburgh catcher Ronny Paulino. He batted .310 which is 12th in the NL for those with at least 400 at bats.
