***Official OHIO STATE-MICHIGAN Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Loved that they went for two and the win..horrible play call and throw to end the game. Misdirection was working against the good rush the whole drive.

Well, this shows that OSU is so painfully overrated. Hopefully the polls reflect that Sunday.
No. It doesn't.

The defend has been a major weakness all year. Michigan played a whale of a game and exploited every weakness. OSU's offense can play with anybody in the country. Not true on defense.

Missouri is not jumping Ohio State. PERIOD.
Not this week anyway.
Or any week. If OSU wins out they are in, that one loss for Mizzou costs a ton in the computers.
Michigan State says hi.

Of course, I'm basing this on Mizzou being able to beat Bama or Auburn, which is probably chuckle worthy.

Michigan showed character in this game. They need to start playing like this EVERY game to get back to being relevant.

Before Buckeye fans start celebrating, I want you to read about the 1969 game.

OSU fans were celebrating before that game began, too. And they were even bigger favorites (17 points) than they are this year.
So you are saying you will be laying some ML action on Meechigan?
Maybe a few bucks. But the bigger point is that nothing is guaranteed in a rivalry game.

Whole drive? How about the whole day? Ohio State over pursued again and again and again. It was unreal. It was like their linebackers didn't even exist on 75% of the plays because they were so far out of the play. And the secondary is horrendous. Roby is an embarrassment. Over and over stood Michigan receivers all by themselves with OSU defenders just standing there 10 yards away from them covering nobody. It was an excellent gameplan by UM and they showed a ton of heart today.

Any win over Michigan is a good win, but that was as ugly as a win gets. If OSU doesn't have a new DC next year I'll be disappointed. They've shown no improvement all year and the schemes are terrible. And having to take a timeout to avoid a 12 men on the field penalty immediately after a timeout is inexcusable.

Yep. Over pursuit killed them. All misdirection.

Talent wasn't an issue. Game adjustments/planning was.

This looks like the let them score quick strategery.
not strategy, we can't stop them. This is why we shoulda gone for two.
Only go for 2 when you are going to end it right there...like less than 40 seconds or so
the only way we could stop them is if we changed their play calling to predictable run, ie if we missed the two. If we got it we are in control. If they kick a fg to go up two, we just need a fg. We are not winning in overtime. Ohio was going to score there, only silver lining is our defense is so bad they scored too fast. Now, this time, have to go for two. If we score, obviously.
You trying to set a record for using "we" when talking about a football team you aren't on?
