This has the makings of an instant classic and while we're all backing our teams the fact is that this game could very EASILY go either way.... Let's keep it civil.... I'm not usually a huge fan of sig bets but here goes:The sig bet is until after the SuperBowl. Winning team pics the losing team's sigs for that timeframe. I'll sign up for the Steelers. If they lose this game it's because the Pats deserve it and if they win it's because the Steelers do.

Sig = essencePlus, I can deal with losing $100 at the casino but I can't deal with having say the Steelers suck in my sig if they lose

Just as an FYI... the sigs will be respectful.... No "Steelers Suck" or "Pats are whiny tools". I think everyone agrees these are the two best teams in the NFL and it could go either way.... the sigs will reflect that. This is merely a means to back your boys publicly.....

I've never done a sig bet, but this game should be worth it.

If [the Steelers] lose this game it's because the Pats deserve it and if they win it's because the Steelers do.

Couldn't agree more. These ARE the best 2 teams in football and it's going to come down to who plays the best on this particular Sunday.I'm in for the Pats.
 
I'm in for the pats, even thought that friggin colts guy never changed his from last week :boxing:

 
InIt's just too much fun watching cowhers face when the game goes south. I do believe he crys this year. Should we have another sig bet on which coach crys? :excited: Sorry, I just had to.

 
In.Those were tears of joy on Cowher's face after winning the AFCC game in '95.... I hope he cries again this week :D

The bets made during the regular season was on wether or not they would win the super bowl. Not just win one playoff game. Not win the AFC. Not beat the Patriots. But win it all. That's how confident these Steeler fans were.

I had to jump on that.

I'm reading my FBG handbook and I see no law requiring people to be fans of the teams in question. That is irrelevant. Its a competition between the betters.I didn't even pick a team. The Steeler fans picked the Steelers to win the super bowl and I got the field.

Usually you would be 100% correct, but I think someone qualified earlier that this sig bet was :a) going to be respectful

b) a way for FANS of these two teams to support their teams publicly

I think they want to keep extraneous forces out, that's all. No offense meant.

No. If the Steelers get to the super bowl and run into the Eagles, philly will have a ring.

If you're in, I'm in. While I am not a fan of either team, I'll take the Pats just to back up my negative statements about Big Ben earlier in the week. After watching the Pats devour Manning and Roth struggling late in the year and particularly vs. NYJ, I would be pretty surprised if Cowher can pull this one out.

Pink is in with the Pats, flyin' skirt and all. :football: Should be a great game between two great teams who deserve to be there. :thumbup:
