I can say that I'm ready for some new songs live. After my last 4 shows being both nights of PJ 20, Deluna Fest and Wrigley, those sets were all pretty same.....don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the hell out of it...just looking for somethign different

Over those four concerts, you saw 122 songs (30.5 songs per show), and 88 different songs were played.

I'm not posting this to be argumentative, but that just shows me how awesome they are. We are spoiled.

:lmao: No doubt :bag:

Porch from Hartford 2010 is mind blowing. Just a tip for those still awake.

Texting a friend there, she said atmosphere is unbelievable. Mentioned it was the best Corduroy she's ever heard.
I'm on my phone so accessing is a little rough, but is this available as downloadable bootleg fromthe ten club site?

Good luck to everyone vying for tickets tomorrow.

Whatever site has your show (Ticketmaster, Comcasttix, etc), just make sure you are signed in ahead of time with your name/address/CC info all logged in already. Registering is easy as pie, get that out of the way so you can just focus on battling for seats.

:football: I am ready to go. I will have two computers going and all registration is done. Going for the Phoenix show.

Say it ain't so. TF has joined the ranks of the entitled!

Will be in a meeting at 10 AM tomorrow so TM is likely out. I'll be there though. Have some back channels I am working on.

I'm all registered and ready to go tomorrow morning for the Phoenix show too. Gonna try for a pair of tickets for myself and a friend at work. Never been to jobing.com arena. I assume the best seat would be off to the left and right in the stands. The equivalent of the 20 yard line I guess?

I agree. I am hoping for right stage. As far as I can tell though it is best to just ask for best available and take what ever it gives you. From what I have read if you try to get specific seats it may take to long and you will be SOL.

Good luck

Not working. Fantastic.

Maybe Ten Club runs Ticketmaster now?
Wat?

I was just checking TM here to make sure they did not mean 10:00 am eastern time. I am assuming it truly is 10:00 MST for us here in AZ.

Are you trying for east coast tickets? From what I can tell the sell times are dependant on the time zone where the show will be. If you are on west coast sell time is not for a while.

I wasn't able to get through for Baltimore at all, and now it's over. Just means I'll have to get ### raped for seats, which is what the ticketing industry is all about now and why this will be my last Pearl Jam show.

I was able to pick up 2 in Charlotte....looks like all the good seats were gone though.
what kind of seats did you end up with? Was there a lot of F5 going on?
Just the upper corner. Not the worst seats I have had for a concert which were upper beside the stage. These should have a good, if far, view.

I'm just excited to finally get to see Pearl Jam since they do not frequent the Carolinas. Last time they came I happened to be in Europe.

That sucks-sorry

Now I am real nervous about my chances.

Slapdash- Sounds like it went down pretty fast?

Scalpers dictate the real market for in demand events, I guess that's what we've decided we want as a society. Right now stubhub's being slammed by absurd asking prices but I'm hopeful the market will bring it down in a few weeks. And if not there's always the parking lots. I'm GOING to this show. And then that's it.

Unless there are ever more cornholes and one of my Ten Club buddies wants to help me out ;)

I just looked at Hartford and 40 mins after they went on sale best available was lower bowl. That sounds a little more promising for me

J zilla- Would you come to Phoenix? Let me know and if I can I will try to help you out.

If you can't get Phoenix I see they play in San Diego as well. Which is where I'm heading today for a few days after I try buy tickets.

No thanks, that's a bit of a haul plus the only real reason I'm so adamant about getting to this show is so that I can finally bring my kids. Maybe I should just fly them out to you.

I'll pay through the nose, and it will still be worth it. Pearl Jam's pretty much the one "Dad band" they still love, and we've had a lot of fun at other shows.

I hear you. I will hopefully be bringing my 19 year old.

Reading a lot on facebook about the sales so far. Seems very hit and miss. I guess it will come down to luck. Some are saying it was better to call TM instead of buying on line.

I called, waited on hold, and got four individual seats that all run up an aisle, one behind the other, so I guess that is better than paying double!

Ticket buying is hell.

I called ticketmaster. The guy was actually very helpful. I might recommend dialing them up and getting in the hold queue there right as they go on sale, in case you have troubles online like most people have been all morning.

Was online at 10. No dice. Gave up after about 20 mins. Oh well. Expecting tix to be about 3X face for Brooklyn shows. Buddy has a ticket broker in, so that's worst case for good seats.

But I'll be there. Only good thing about this much per show lead time is it gives more time to figure out how to procure tix after being shut out.

Congrats!

I did the $20 parking thing just to take care of it up front. No idea what parking is like around there.

Hey, I haven't seen anywhere, but is anybody opening for them? Or is it just a Pearl Jam show?

Got 2 tickets in the lower bowl for the Pgh show. Had some problems but eventually got them online. The people I know that were trying for Pgh got shut out. Guess I'm really lucky.

There will be some type of opening act.

At the risk of sounding like a PJ apologist...you pissed at the band or at TM?

It was a battle but scored both Philly shows as well as Hartford. Totally pumped. Those queues were scary as all heck. You just feel so helpless. Then when it works out you feel like you cheated death.

Seems like you guys did pretty well. Congrats.

Only people I know that tried was a Charlotte person who got Charlotte tickets and another person that got shut out of Buffalo.

My wife of course brought up a New York trip around the Brooklyn shows at the last minute but I figure if that happens I'll get tickets another route.

If anyone is still looking for tickets...don't forget about Ebay. Had much more success there with better pricing than with Stubhub and they are usually not bidding wars, just "buy now".

Well I was pissed at the whole situation when I thought I was going to have to pay double for seats, even though I was hungover, needed more sleep but on point at 10 am. I'm pissed that scalping is allowed, encouraged even, and screws up a simple ticket sales process for the rest of us. I'm not pissed at the band but after I take my kids to this show I can't see myself ever considering paying stubhub prices to see these guys (or anybody) again. If that's what it comes to.

I'm happy for them that they're this kind of a draw  They deserve it.

Ticketmaster pulled through for me, for the most part. But groups of seats together were sold out in what seemed like less than ten minutes, and how much of that was just people buying tickets to scalp? Most I bet.

I hear ya...the crazy thing is that I know PJ does the most they can to secure as many fan club tix as possible...but it could be part of the problem, b/c it ends up increasing the general public demand where people are paying $1500 for tix at Wrigley (a 50k capacity place mind you) b/c it's the "thing to do in the city that night". And I assume that the bands get a cut of all the marked up tickets on Live Nation, but I could be wrong.

I don't know what the answer is. Live Nation controls all of the venues that can hold the amount of fans that PJ requires. I really applaud what Kid Rock has done: http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/1556609/kid-rock-takes-pay-cut-with-20-tickets-on-summer-tour

The one thing that PJ does that absolutely pisses me off is their merch pricing. $35 for a t-shirt is an absolute hypocritical (did I use this word right?) price to charge given their stance on things of that nature. Phish was only charging $25 the very next night, and they have just as a dedicated fan base (maybe more).

FWIW I have been pissed at this whole situation for 20 years or so. This is the first concert in a large venue with a big name that I have bought tickets for in over 20 years. My live music tends to be small venues and the bands I see are usually up and coming or had their hey day long ago. Pearl Jam is the one band I made the exception for. It truly was not a good experience buying these tickets. The only way it would have been worse is if I went through all the bs and did not get tickets. I am VERY happy I am getting to see them but I am not sure I would go through it again. Having said that when the lights go down I suspect I will quickly forget about the ticket buying experience.

I agree TF and Pearl Jam have been pretty hypocritical in some of their behavior, in a number of ways. You can see it in Ten Club, merch & ticket sales, and sometimes just the things Eddie says. It's OK though, they're the ####### best, and they have every right to do business, I just can't get pulled into it myself. But they've given a lot back as well. In any case, I'm pretty happy just with the albums and the boots.

And I am really jealous BTW of your collection. Someday though, your grandchildren are gonna find all these tubes of posters, and be like "Wow, Grandpa really liked jelly."

Ticket scalping's at an all time high I think now, and yeah I am the same way prosopis, mostly small shows for me. Large show exception maybe every other year. Rush, Muse with the kids. Pearl Jam cornholes too, but it never seemed like this big a hassle to get Pearl Jam tickets before.

My gf won box seats to Robert Plant at Wolf Trap, which we saw last week... now THAT was worth it.

yeah, luckily i don't really get sucked into all the merch stuff. I decided a long time ago that I was just going to get a poster from every show I've been to and leave it at that. They're more about the memories of the shows and stuff. It helps that I really don't like a majority of the t-shirts and clothing that they put out.

Remember when they used Fun, Tours & Travel? The 96 show in Ft Lauderdale sold out in 7 minutes. About 10 of us waited at an office to begin calling, only 3 of us were able to get through for tickets. We got 4 each so we all went but I remember being frustrated at the difficulty of them not using a mainstream office like TM....sounds like not much as changed.

JustCheapTickets dot com has tickets available now, not sure of the pricing compared to TM/eBay/Stubhub etc. The closest show to me looks to be either in NC or the Voodoo Festival in Nawlins Nov 1-3..NOLA sounds like fun around Halloween, may bring the wife and a machete, see what happens. Anyone else going to be in NO for this show?

I get the posters also. Don't need much else. But I did get a hoodie from PJ20 that has the wrong dates and state on it.

The only other thing I came close to buying was the PJ hat with supersonic colors.
