***Official Pearl Jam Thread*** (2 Viewers)

Somebody posted a download of a fan bootleg on the PJ forums for the Phoenix show in the fanviews thread for that one. I'm gonna buy the official one when it comes out but that one is pretty good. I don't normally download stuff like that for fear of viruses or what have you so buyer beware of course. Seems OK as I dl'd directly to my phone had to unzip and stick it in my music folder.

Here is the link:

Just got home from last night. Great show. Let Me Sleep (It's Christmastime) was a cool treat. The band seemed like they were having a lot of fun. Eddie's whole Macklemore thing was pretty damn funny.

Going thru a bunch of old CDs tonight to give to a buddy and came across this old school boot called "Nonsense" that I found at a store called The Record Exchange back in the 90s, ya know when CDs were cool and live #### was impossible to get. There are a few songs that have crowd audio dubbed in, because they've never played a few of them live, but it has some really rare stuff (Ship Song and Against the 70's live for example). Plus, I Got You, which is why I freakin' loved hearing that song in Pitt '00. Anyways...

Also includes one of my all time favorite Mike jams (and face melters) below. Many of you know it...not super rare because it's on the great Soldier Field 3 disc set, but amazing nonetheless. And how great is Ed for the first 30 seconds? "Taco Bell run for the boarder" LOLZ....Chad Smith on the kit. Classic stuff, boys. Enjoy my drunken, reminiscing, evening with me...

J - do you have the setlist because I am seeing some duplicate numbers for tracks and some track numbers are missing. Not a big deal, just wondering if you have the same setlist.

Thanks again dude, this is awesome.
As I said earlier... the numbers are only in sequence for each disk, so you're going to want to keep them in those folders or renumber them yourself. Also the ID3 tags are not numbered or named... that's on the other guy. Sorry, I just didn't want to spend so much extra time doing that stuff, because I personally am fine with it as it is.List for Disks 1-6

Found the Zilla mega disc while going through my stuff the other night. Thought I'd hunt down the track list and it was waaaay back on page 16. This baby is going back into auto rotation. Some good stuff back on the early pages.

Need to try to find the tracklist for Leg 2 of JZilla's compliation.
Was there a leg 2 mega created? I saw lots of posts of people asking about it, but never any tracklist or confirmation it was made. I don't remember downloading one, but that doesn't mean anything...

Yep, leg 2 for the west coast swing. Page 21 or so is where it was discussed. No idea if the link still works.

I think I have this on an old iPod, will try to find.

I got the Phoenix bootleg in the mail today. It is awesome !!!!!

I remember the ####ty bootlegs of the 70s/80s and this just blows me away.

How long ago did Ed start cutting most notes over a second long in half live?

2006 "Once" : "Iiiiiiiiii admit it..."

2013 "Once" : "I-hiiiiiii admit it..."

Vedder announced a solo gig in South America at some festival. I'm guessing that's not all the news, but unfortunately it might be more gigs south of the equator.

If anyone wants links to 2013 shows send me your email address.

Side note - I'm official for Milan in June. Really stoked (for Italy also). The wife isn't really comprehending how awesome this experience will be, I guess just for me. Anyone ever been to a Europe show?

Nice bobcat, that will be incredible. Never seen them overseas but friends that have say it's something else.

And on cue, a buddy walks in right now -- no joke, as I'm typing -- and I ask him if he could only see one more Pearl Jam show, what country would it be in? Verbatim, he goes, "Oh god..........[long silence]............................I have never been asked that question..................................................Italy. The best crowd I've ever witnessed was in Italy".

How great is that? And he's seen over 100 shows, easily. I'd say you're set. :)

That is great. I've said to myself, this should really be it for me. It would be like retiring as a veteran after winning the Super Bowl. Go out on top. But these guys are like crack.

This stadium looks incredible...it's huge...where AC Milan plays...and I'll be up front somewhere in the 10C pit. Probably hanging back in that area because of the wife, but that will just let me soak it all in all night so it's probably best that way.

The Milan show from 2000 was one of my favorites for a while. The crowd really gets them fired up. Wish I was going too!

The show I'll be at on 6/20 will be two days short of the 14 year anniversary of that 6/22/00 show. It's one of the few Euro boots I have, Fila Forum. Like that one also

Fun note....the Forum holds approx 13k, while stadium San Siro holds over 80k.

Brong, check your email. I got your Vancouver and Seattle shows today from my dude. He said he should be getting LA, not sure about SD.

I'm not a big poster guy....but I will want one from the Milan show. For you poster guys that check out the Goods section frequently or pay attention to the poster releases at some point after the show:

Are they always one standard size and do you know the size? If I buy one there, I'd like to bring with me the smallest cardboard poster tube possible for my travel back to the US.

Can I bring the cardboard poster tube into the venue? Do you do this? Maybe a site specific question.

What are the odds (guesstimate) that the Milan poster will be released online at a later date?

Am I better off just getting one there?

Can I be 100% sure that I'd get one post show on my walk out?

Are they always available in the venue? Outside the venue?

Do you know if anything about the poster experience is different at a foreign show?

Anything I missed?

Many thanks!

All different poster sizes. I would definitely buy one at the venue to ensure you get it at retail price. It may go online, or it may not. There is a huge secondary market on Ebay, so you can definitely still get one if you miss out, but you'll pay 2 or 3 times retail depending on how in demand the poster is.I've been in US venues that allow tubes and some that don't. On this past US tour they had a kiosk open outside the venues at like Noon or 2PM, so that's a good option if you don't mind waiting in a long line. Not sure if they have the kiosk for the Europe shows.

FWIW, I think they're doing a better job of making them available online after the shows. Sometimes it's right away, sometimes it's a few months.

That's good to know. I remember Ames used to release a limited number of signed & numbered prints at random times and they'd disappear really fast. Some of those are my most prized possessions. :)

yeah, if you want the numbered ones, you have to jump on them pretty quick. But if you dont' care, they'll typically be available a few months after online. A quick look over at PJ.com and it looks like all of 2013 posters are still available

Wow that's quite a change...I wonder if they are printing more copies to kill the Ebay gougers.

Guess so. I still get mine early where I can

Get it at the show and buy the tube there for 5 bucks. You may have to check it for the flight. They gave me an issue in chicago but I told them to eff off. I wasnt checking a tube I could hold in my lap

Yeah my experience with TSA is you need to be a complete *******, and pretty soon they're saying "Yes sir" and bringing you cocktails.

What about TSA Italia? :lmao:

No way I'd check it unless it was in my checked luggage bag, and even then that's stretching it. It wouldn't make it back to the States I'm assuming.

I guess I'll have to ponder this one some and check out Ebay/Goods.

TSA gave me no issues. It was some dweeb as I was boarding the plane. I was a little ornery because it was Labor Day weekend and I had to catch a train home. There was no way I was making the train if I had to wait for my poster tube to come out of the carousel. I threw it in my backpack and took off. They never came to get me
