What I gathered from this:

SD or BAL could earn the AFC 1 seed

SD, BAL, or IND could earn the AFC 2 seed

BAL, IND, NE could earn the AFC 3 seed

IND, NE could earn the AFC 4 seed

NYJ could clinch an AFC WC with a win VS. OAK

DEN could clinch an AFC WC with a win VS. SF

NYJ, DEN, TEN, CIN, JAX, KC could earn either AFC WC

CHI has clinched the NFC 1 seed

NO has clinched the NFC 2 seed

DAL, PHI could earn the NFC 3 seed

SEA has clinched the NFC 4 seed

PHI or DAL have clinched at least an NFC WC

NYG, GB, CAR, ATL, STL could earn the 2nd NFC WC

FYI, per NFL.com, NYG's strength of victory is .438, and GB's is .314If both teams win this weekend, the Giants' SOV drops to .422, but the Packers' SOV only goes up to .376. That's an awfully big differential to make up. Green Bay would need wins from Minnesota, Detroit, Arizona, Miami, and/or San Fran plus some losses by Dallas, Tampa, Houston, and/or Carolina. Philly-Atlanta will raise NYG's SOV no matter what.I suspect that the Packets have no chance if Dallas beats Detroit, but could anyone here try to prove this mathetmatically?

Giants certainly have the best chance of making it on the NFC side as do the Broncos and Jets on the AFC side.
