Every AMERICAN I know is doing very well. They are very successful people. This is the best country in the world. I'm sure a lot of you prefer Russia. I wish you would just move there.

The experts almost universally agree that he will do harm to the economy if he implements his plan to dramatically reduce taxes and increase spending on military, etc. He will have to change his plan because a Republican congress won't pass it. 

 
I'm mostly joking but it is crazy that America's right is now aligned with Russia. I'm just glad Reagan and John Wayne aren't alive to see this.

The greatest part of this is that BOTH parties were defeated today. An outsider won and now maybe down the road we will get more outsiders running and winning.

I'm actually more in "sit back and observe" mode now than anything else (I was sort of put there :bye: ), but I have to add this . . . MOP, all of those problems you cite are the responsibility of Republicans.

Europe barely down right now. Panic buying in Asia as they were first to open and stupidly sold off huge. The CAC 40 is down but what do you expect from the french. They are low energy. FTSE almost even, DAX coming back.

 
Any Democrat attacking or blaming Republicans, conservatives, red necks, etc needs to shut their mouth. Democrats are just as much to blame for this stupidity thanks to them nominating such a horrible candidate. Maybe a look in the mirror as to why they would be willing to compromise themselves by nominating such an awful person and flawed candidate is required here.

 
I think the key to the election result is going to boil down to college-educated white woman voting for Trump due to rising healthcare costs.  

45% went for Trump.  Stunned.

You've got blinders on. While he's no saint he's not the one rightfully under FBI investigation. 

 
What am I missing?  Is there really that much hate in America?  I will take off my hat to Donald he beat not only the DNC but the RNC as well.  I hope that Trump if anything throws a wrench into same old same old politics.  Hope that Donald can move the country the forward.  Hopefully this is the end of the RNC and DNC as we know it.  Time for some new blood I guess.  What am I missing?

People actually believed this I guess.  Who is going to work with him?  The RNC didn't want him, the DNC hates him.  I guess he will just bully America forward.  I hope he does some good.

Guess I just got lucky?  I can get a job anywhere, and my finances are doing great.  We have doubled our salary in less than 10 years, and my wife's job pays 100% of our families healthcare.  But, if Trump can improve on that more power to him.  I will wait for my bump in pay, and rebate checks. 

 
Ok, how long until the working class whites start prospering?  When do we stop outsourcing jobs and open all the coal mines back up?

Im more upset that these crazy people now will feel empowered or entitled. Look at the rise in hate crimes and blatant disregard for humanity in Great Britain since brexit.

His speech wasn't bad. But rudy, christie, and carson in a cabinet is scary.

No mention of the wall but talk of unity etc.; we shall see. I also feel like he will not seek reelection but who knows. Now we have to trust our constitution and institutions and see what happens.

People chose the wrong time for protest and now we are stuck in a precarious position. But i still love this country and respect the office.

The candidate that has lied the most in recorded history according to a Pulitzer Prize winning non partisan site, just got elected because they cant trust the woman who lied the least according to the same site. Americans are so smart that they elected a person who can collapse our economy before he takes office.

But, emails.

 
Looking forward to the 25 million new jobs, 4% growth rates, expanded defense spending, big tax cuts, protecting social security and medicare and falling deficits.
