No clue why Amanda was saved. Should have been gone weeks ago. Doesn't stand out whatsoever. And nothing to look at at all (sorry Miz). Ugly ##### just needs to #### off out of the wrestling business. And her 30 second end promo was a bunch of bull####. Waste of breath. And it cost Mada (someone that is deserving of moving on) his spot.

Easy to see from the beginning ZZ wasn't going to lose a fan vote. Too bad Mada left but I'm sure he'll get a shot with WWE with the complete lack of big men with a good look on their current roster.

Tanner has everything but the ability to talk. W/o that, he's got no shot of succeeding. Same reason why I think ZZ has a lot of potential if he can work himself into better shape.

I'd say something about Amanda, but Miz's save kept her safe. I hope they don't have a guest judge of the week with rolling saves now.
Really hope this as well.

Only way ZZ leaves is if other 2 are saved. I have no issue with ZZ staying over Amanda. For that matter, I wouldn't have a problem with anyone with a pulse staying over her either.

Well TOUGH ENOUGH outcome was another FAIL
How did they handle Hogan's absence? Any mention of it?
Not a word. Said Miz was guest judge and that was all they said about it.

That show is a complete disaster. It's terrible on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin. The nonsensical challenges? Judges putting up strong competitors for elimination because of one thing they said? A judge saving an inferior competitor because "she's hot"? Fans trolling the process by saving by far the worst competitor in the contest week after week? A contestant asking another one to "cut a promo on my bikini"? The whole structure of the show itself?

It couldn't be any more ridiculous. All the trainers, judges and hosts look worse for being associated with it. And I'm an idiot for watching it. :bag:

I like where they're going with Wyatt's family. Anxious to see who's the #3. It's rumored to be someone the fans will be upset about. Probably someone who's currently a face.
This is only a rumor so I won't spoiler tag it. The rumor I am frequently seeing is Bo Dallas, who happens to be Wyatt's real-life brother.
Adam Rose from what I've heard.
I'd be fine with either of those guys. I'd especially enjoy Bo Dallas. He has every reason to be disillusioned after people have repeatedly rejected his "positive" message, and then kicked the crap out of him. Why wouldn't he think society is lost? And then the brother angle is there too if they decide to run with that.

I keep hoping Chelsea does something worth being in the bottom 3 (and voted off) because (1) I don't like that she was a walk-on on episode 4 and (2) she's the only one with wrestling experience, PLUS the benefit of appearing on WWE TV already (if you don't know, she played the physical therapist that Daniel Bryan was supposedly cheating on Brie with in story. I keep hoping DBryan will acknowledge it, but I know it won't be).

Ultima Lucha - Part 1 tonight:

Cage v. The Mack - Falls Count Anywhere

Disciples of Death v. Son of Havoc/Ivelisse/Angelico - Trios Championship match

Drago v. Hernandez - "Believers Backlash" match - Lumberjack Strap match.

I bet they told Miz to make a save just to get the show some ratings. Paige really shows her childish age of 22 when she attacks everyone on the show.

Josh probably wins, I picked Tanner and Sara Lee from the start but figure it's probably Chelsea or Gigi now. Gigi has the voice, but Chelsea has the expierence.

I doubt we see actual in ring work until they are down to like 3-4 people.

I haven't seen the new show, but the reports make me miss the original couple seasons a lot. I rewatched them recently on the Network and they still hold up.

The old one's were much better. I remember the Maven season being good. The Stone Cold one was great, except the fixed Andy Levine ending.

When an already bad show takes a turn for the worse, you know it's ####ed. And you know you're ####ed for actually watching it.

Paige is really, really annoying.

Josh/Tanner tag team might have some potential.

Last night's first part of LU's Ultima Lucha was straight up off the chain! All three matches were worthy of main event status. Of course, the Cage - Mack match (where falls count anywhere), not a single move or spot actually took place in the ring.

I think seeing an LU show at "The Temple" has just made my bucket list.

Becoming a bigger fan of the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast. His interviews are great and his State Of Wrestling at the end are solid. It's really what I think David Shoemaker could do on his own without Rosenberg.

My must listen podcasts at this time:

Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast

Straight Shoot (especially the This Week In Wrestling)

Cheap Heat (I fight through Rosenberg for Shoemaker and Stat Guy Greg)

Listens if the guest is good:

Talk Is Jericho

Jim Ross

Listen if I have nothing else:

Steve Austin Podcast (I'm kind of burned out on his style, the catchphrases, etc - almost too much non wrestling or "back in my day")

TAZ podcast (It sucks me in with their Top 10 Lists or short PPV reviews)

"The Temple" is no more. Cleaned out. If there is a Season 2 (I'd say 50/50 at this point...El Rey is having money issues), it'll be somewhere else.

gotta try flair... still love Austin... would listen to a daily show of his... I would basically invert this list but to each their own...

I got positively giddy when I saw Ted Fowler was showing up in LA this week. Love that guy... I said to my buddy, if I can live a life like Ted Fowler I'll have done a good job

After the Piper ####, #### Austin. Tired of his schtick anyway. Haven't listened to a PodcastOne interview in probably a month. Listened to Lex Luger on Flair's a week or so ago.

Only 2 wrestling shows/podcasts I listen to on a weekly basis anymore is Don Tony & Kevin Castle Show (more because I've been listening to it for years) and subscribe to Vince Russo's site. Costs $4.99/mo but worth it with as much video interviews/podcasts/content he provides. Here's a couple of recent ''phone calls' Russo has made.....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzWpQG7fDho&feature=youtu.be

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-iqz5aMZqY

Just hilarious everything that's going on with GFW & TNA right now.

I love Flair, but the Flair podcast makes me feel sorry for Flair the man. Almost every single story he tells involves him either getting drunk out of his mind or cracking jokes about his four failed marriages. When I do the math on some of the drinking stories I'm like, "Damn, Ric, you were like forty-eight years old then and you were still getting blitzed out of your mind every night?"

Even today he still has a frat boy drinking mentality. He was cutting down JJ Dillon for drinking rum & coke, and he was joking that he's responsible for both of Mene Gene's kidney transplants since they were drinking buddies.

Something heard on Wrestling Observer I think a while ago. I can't find anything relaying that, so I (or they) could be wrong.

I like Roberts as well. He had some excellent stuff during Wrestlemania week.

I'm surprised so many people are fans of straight shoot. I can't stand the guy's voice at all, and I disagree with like 90% of his opinions. Maybe I caught bad shows, I only gave it 2 shots, but I thought it was the worst of all of these.

Totally agree that Rosenberg makes Cheap Heat borderline intolerable.

I haven't listened to it in months, but I liked Cabana's podcast. He had an amazing 2-parter with William Regal a while back.

Jericho and Austin are both guest dependent for me, I do like Austin more for the network shows, he seems to be a bit more hard hitting question wise. Jericho is great when he is interviewing his buddies, but pretty rough otherwise.

WWE reportedly trying to rid ZZ from Tough Enough. Voting just turning into a troll fest  Hope he wins it all. I imagine they'll rig it to get 2 judges to save 2 of the bottom 3 and forcing his elimination.

As we reported yesterday, the WWE released a Tough Enough Digital Extra video showing coach Billy Gunn addressing the competitors and in particular ZZ over their in-ring performance.

According to F4Wonline.com they note that the clip was released because officials within WWE want ZZ eliminated from the competition after this week.

Dave Meltzer notes that he was under the impression that WWE had set things up for ZZ to be eliminated last week but fans weren't manipulated in that way so ZZ remained for another week.

If you haven't seen the video released yesterday, check it out below:

Again, another reason you don't let fans decide who gets eliminated.

Was just watching Summerslam 1990 the other day. Just amazing to me that 12 of 26 performers on that PPV main card have since passed.
The Lapsed Fan wrestling podcast reviews past pay-per-views mainly from the 80s and 90s. One of the segments they do is the death toll where they list every wrestler, ref, and announcer who appeared on that pay-per-view who is no longer with us. Sometimes it can be staggering. I think I recall seventeen being the high. Really, sixteen because they jokingly always include The Undertaker in the toll since he's The Dead Man Walking.

Never thought of or cared about tough enough but I will figure out how to vote for zz

Adam Rose with pictures showing a new team with Brad Maddox, called Beef Mode. Guess the rumors as a member of the Wyatt Family are not happening.

Hope the send Hot Rod out with a proper sendoff tonight
I would start RAW with the excellent video package that only WWE can do (might be a challenge if they want to keep Hogan and the coconut out of it, but they will figure it out). You end the package with the picture of Piper and his birth and death date. That picture fades to a shot of the stage. All the WWE Superstars are lined up, much like for Dusty's RAW moment. Along the stage you have a double row of bagpipe players, and they play "Scotland The Brave". As the last note is played, "Bad Reputation" blares over the speakers, the mass of WWE Superstars divide and front and center is Ronda Rousey in a Hot Rod tshirt. She makes her way to the ring, talks about dedicating her match to Piper, what he meant to her, and then leaves the ring with a tease about WM in Texas.

You could sell every ticket to Jerry World on that 15 mins alone right now.

Don't watch Tough Enough, but can ZZ at least wrestle? Or will it be like when MTV let Jessie get voted on as their next VJ
Well, if they showed more than 5 minutes of them doing any ring time, we'd probably see if he could wrestle. But from what little they've shown, he's the worst of the guys in the ring.

Right now, my pick for the winners is Tanner (although he has no charisma, he's very athletic and can wrestle) and GG (best female wrestler outside of Chelsea - and I've stated how I hate how Chelsea was brought in as a fill-in, and GG also has the best look IMO).

To fully honor Piper's valuable contributions to the WWE, Cena should be half in black-face and Titus O'Neil should be half in white face.

I love watching Ambrose do that thing he does bouncing off the ropes 250 times a match. Never gets old.....

Cancelled my Network subscription today  Auck Fustin.
