I'm hoping for a clean win for Rollins over Cena.

Absent that, I'll certainly take a long match interrupted by Sheamus cashing in, making it a 3-way, and ending similar to Summerslam 2012. That's where Cena AAed Big Show, Punk pushed Cena out and pinned Show to keep the title. It throws Sheamus under the bus but that's a small casuality IMO - he is not an interesting MITB caseholder.
Come on. Shamus is virtually guaranteed to become WWE champ with that briefcase. Haven't you been listening to JBL every single week for the last three months?

What the heck (note that I've never done this before so you may as well do the opposite of what I say):

Lesnar - If Taker was willing to give Lesnar the rub at Mania, I don't know why he'd need to win at SS. I think another Taker loss sets him up to come back for a final victory at Mania over ????

Seamus - Rollins lost at Mania and then later cashed. I don't think they'll follow the same formula here - I think Seamus wins early v. Orton.

Rollins leaves with the belt (though I'm surprised there is no Seamus option here) - I don't see any reason they take the belt off Rollins at this point, especially not to Cena.

Miz - Miz is a great character and they'd be smart to put the belt on him. I could see him ducking potential challengers in all sorts of ways going forward.

Wyatt - Ambrose or Reigns will turn during this one, either way giving Wyatt the win.

New Day - I actually think the Lucha Dragons would be a nice swerve here, but think New Day walks out winners.

Neville/Amell - The star isn't brought in to lose. In addition, Barrett pretty much loses to everyone. So unless they're going to give Barrett a sudden push, Neville gets the win here.

Owens - We all win with this matchup. I only say Owens wins so that he can maintain all the heat he's generated. But Cesaro seesm to be getting a nice push of late so I'd actually like to see him get the win. But either way this match will be ####.

BAD wins giving Banks more push.

Ziggler over Rusev - Gotta give the face a win.

Tie-Breaker - Josh

Good luck!

My Summerslam wishlist, if not prediction, list....

Undertaker Lesnar ends here and doesn't build til Mania, I'm looking forward to this match and not the feud, I would be ok with Heyman screwing Lesnar

Rollins wins... come on Cena has the shirt...get us to Lesnar-Rollins Mania.. a year build, thats a nice main event

Cesaro-Owens.... hopefully it goes 40 minutes with the extra hour

Rusev wins, Lana Swerves back, Rusev is over like rover with two chicks at his side

Stardust-the actor fella--- oddly looking forward to this just to see where Stardust goes with the recent dusty stuff.... sense a meltdown but it might be some business to sink your teeth into

New Day-- should be a nice moment for 3 guys who worked hard and never quit

Wyatt lite vs Shield lite.... Dean is back in the shield gear for the night, does the shield entrance to a nice pop, please let Reigns turn on Dean, it would be best for every person in this match... Dean turning does a little something for the wyatts but nothing for him and nothing for Roman. Roman turning will never happen but i would actually pop if Reigns were to do a redneck polynesian gimmick

Divas- who cares

Seamus-Orton... piss break... perhaps a number 2 break.... if I must see some, please let Orton DISMANTLE Seamus in front of that crowd to a nice pop

This isn't good. Watching the live stream on the network, buffers every three to four minutes. And it's only showing the Balor special. I figure it won't get much better for Takeover.

Anyone had any luck by tuning in 10 minutes late and selecting "watch from beginning" on a ppv? Is that even an option on a ppv?

Eta- no, I'm not on dial up. 18megs down. Never any issues with Netflix, etc.

Experiencing the same on my cable modem

You can watch live broadcast a little late. I think up to 30 minutes, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just started 'watch from beginning' 30 minutes after start time. Could be wrong, I thought you could 'watch from beginning' at any point.

I know WWE did announce within the past day or two they are aware of buffering issues. (They hoped to have them resolved for 2nite's event)

If anyone was still holding out for some crazy reason....NXT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WWE

This whole package tonight has been insane and the main event hasn't even come on yet.

That women's title match was amazing. I haven't been this emotionally invested in a match in a really long time. Men's main event can't possibly live up to that.

Just wait
Good match, but I was way more into the women's match. Just great psychology in that one along with the great wrestling. Bayley is that "too nice" girl who got verbally abused by the mean girls in school, and Sasha played the mean girl perfectly. Every time Sasha went at her verbally, Bayley went all Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" on her. Bayley does the little things so well with her body language. The way she looks despondent when she's getting verbally bullied just before deciding that she's worth something and doesn't have to take that from Sasha. Wonderful storytelling.

I paid for the network for Takeover, worth every penny.

Don't really care about Summerslam. Don't think it will top this.
Fantastic show. NXT takes an old school approach to booking. They have just a 1 hour show per week similar to "Superstars" from back in the 80s. Most of that hour features squash matches, and simple vignettes and promos. It's kind of boring, but it makes the attractions like this feel so much bigger.

Ditto that. Sasha is such a great heel and both women sold beautifully. This was an old school classic. When Sasha removed the wraps on the wrist and went after the injury followed by Bailey selling the attacks........I loved this match.

Wow. Just wow. Amazing show from start to finish.
It was super fun, but don't pretend there weren't slow spots. Crews match dragged. Samoa Joe was a snoozer. Tag match was iffy, but I think the Vaudevillans are fun, so I bought in.
Completely disagree with all. Crews match was interesting because I've never seen the guy plus Dillinger is working this new gimmick. I was pleasantly surprised by Joe-Corbin and I don't like either guy. Good old fashioned brawl.

Tag match was awesome. Not much else to say about that.

Agree that the ladies stole the show. Including the 4 of them having that final moment which I loved.

Wow that's the best women's match I've ever watched.

It's too bad they even have to go to the main roster. They're already being wasted with the trios crap there.

Lita mentioned Zero1 and RoH leading into NXT:TO. I'm hoping for some cross promotional tag team action for the Dusty Rhodes tag team classic. Then add NJPW to it. Dare to dream.

Yeah, the women are being wasted in all these tag matches that only last 5-10 minutes. They only have time to get in a spot and a finisher and that's it.

I was sort of mixed on the curtain call. Great moment, but Sasha breaking kayfabe kind of took me out of the moment. Wrestling is at its best when they make you forget it's a work, which they had accomplished. Unless they plan on running the 4 horsewomen gimmick on the main roster. The other 2 members of BAD were there, so maybe they confront Sasha on it tonight or on RAW. But I don't think it was anything more than a Kliq like curtain call.

I think the idea is to give people a taste of what they can do without giving away the big singles matches. Nikki defending the belt should be a big deal...even just choosing her opponent should be hyped up. Once the singles matches become the focus, creating dissention in the groups is easy.

Agreed, but WWE dropped the ball and should have kept all 3 NXT ladies together.

They could have created all kinds of havoc with the main roster.
