I agree. I've never cared in the least about celebrity, athlete, or band appearances during wrestling pay-per-views.

Pete Rose just looked up from his autograph table, feeling slightly offended.I agree. I've never cared in the least about celebrity, athlete, or band appearances during wrestling pay-per-views.
Come on. Shamus is virtually guaranteed to become WWE champ with that briefcase. Haven't you been listening to JBL every single week for the last three months?I'm hoping for a clean win for Rollins over Cena.
Absent that, I'll certainly take a long match interrupted by Sheamus cashing in, making it a 3-way, and ending similar to Summerslam 2012. That's where Cena AAed Big Show, Punk pushed Cena out and pinned Show to keep the title. It throws Sheamus under the bus but that's a small casuality IMO - he is not an interesting MITB caseholder.
What the heck (note that I've never done this before so you may as well do the opposite of what I say):In a summerslam pool. I literally have no idea....anyone been following this have any leans?
Experiencing the same on my cable modemThis isn't good. Watching the live stream on the network, buffers every three to four minutes. And it's only showing the Balor special. I figure it won't get much better for Takeover.
Anyone had any luck by tuning in 10 minutes late and selecting "watch from beginning" on a ppv? Is that even an option on a ppv?
Eta- no, I'm not on dial up. 18megs down. Never any issues with Netflix, etc.
You can watch live broadcast a little late. I think up to 30 minutes, but I'm not 100% sure. This isn't good. Watching the live stream on the network, buffers every three to four minutes. And it's only showing the Balor special. I figure it won't get much better for Takeover.

Lol. Sasha just woke it back up.Samoa Joe put it to sleep. My stream just died
Just waitThat women's title match was amazing. I haven't been this emotionally invested in a match in a really long time. Men's main event can't possibly live up to that.
Good match, but I was way more into the women's match. Just great psychology in that one along with the great wrestling. Bayley is that "too nice" girl who got verbally abused by the mean girls in school, and Sasha played the mean girl perfectly. Every time Sasha went at her verbally, Bayley went all Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" on her. Bayley does the little things so well with her body language. The way she looks despondent when she's getting verbally bullied just before deciding that she's worth something and doesn't have to take that from Sasha. Wonderful storytelling.JB Breakfast Club said:Just waitJeremy said:That women's title match was amazing. I haven't been this emotionally invested in a match in a really long time. Fantastic show. NXT takes an old school approach to booking. They have just a 1 hour show per week similar to "Superstars" from back in the 80s. Most of that hour features squash matches, and simple vignettes and promos. It's kind of boring, but it makes the attractions like this feel so much bigger.MindCrime said:I paid for the network for Takeover, worth every penny.
Don't really care about Summerslam. Don't think it will top this.
Ditto that. Sasha is such a great heel and both women sold beautifully. This was an old school classic. When Sasha removed the wraps on the wrist and went after the injury followed by Bailey selling the attacks........I loved this match.Good match, but I was way more into the women's match. It was super fun, but don't pretend there weren't slow spots. Crews match dragged. Samoa Joe was a snoozer. Tag match was iffy, but I think the Vaudevillans are fun, so I bought in.Wow. Just wow. Amazing show from start to finish.
Completely disagree with all. Crews match was interesting because I've never seen the guy plus Dillinger is working this new gimmick. I was pleasantly surprised by Joe-Corbin and I don't like either guy. Good old fashioned brawl. It was super fun, but don't pretend there weren't slow spots. Crews match dragged. Yeah, the women are being wasted in all these tag matches that only last 5-10 minutes. They only have time to get in a spot and a finisher and that's it.Wow that's the best women's match I've ever watched.
It's too bad they even have to go to the main roster. They're already being wasted with the trios crap there.
I was sort of mixed on the curtain call. Great moment, but Sasha breaking kayfabe kind of took me out of the moment. Wrestling is at its best when they make you forget it's a work, which they had accomplished. Unless they plan on running the 4 horsewomen gimmick on the main roster. The other 2 members of BAD were there, so maybe they confront Sasha on it tonight or on RAW. But I don't think it was anything more than a Kliq like curtain call.Agree that the ladies stole the show. Including the 4 of them having that final moment which I loved.
I think the idea is to give people a taste of what they can do without giving away the big singles matches. Nikki defending the belt should be a big deal...even just choosing her opponent should be hyped up. Once the singles matches become the focus, creating dissention in the groups is easy.Yeah, the women are being wasted in all these tag matches that only last 5-10 minutes. I think travdogg has already proposed to her. Sorry.Just watched NXT Takeover. An awesome show! And Sasha, will you marry me?
Agreed, but WWE dropped the ball and should have kept all 3 NXT ladies together.Wow that's the best women's match I've ever watched.
