The irony of Punk proving the point here
PWTorch reports that CM Punk aggressively confronted Ryan Nemeth in the AEW locker room before Nemith was removed from the building and sent home from the latest Collision taping.
Punk allegedly cornered Nemeth, got inches from his face, angrily and aggressively asked if they had a problem or if they needed to settle things outside.
Punk cited to Nemeth that his comments on Twitter where he tweeted "Literally the softest man alive..." after CM Punk's return promo on the debut of Collision.
Punk claims the tweet inflamed existing tensions and that the optics of the tweet sent a bad message.
The feeling backstage amongst wrestlers not in a position of power with a big contract is to lay low when it comes to Punk because you don’t want to be on what is essentially his enemies list.
1. Punk is a cancer and needs to be removed.
2. Given Punk's MMA career, I seriously doubt he should take anything outside except his nasty hoodie.
More punk drama the fact many of these are coming out not from Meltzer makes you think twice if you defended punk before
Fightful reports an argument took between CM Punk and Jack Perry just before the debut of AEW Collision.
Punk took issue with a spot that Perry planned on performing during an early episode of "Collision," which took place during AEW's tour of Canada. Apparently, Perry wanted to use real glass in a backstage segment, and Punk immediately pushed back against the idea as it was a safety hazard. Punk believed Jack was doing this to get hurt and get out of coming in to work next week.
Tony Schiavone and others reportedly also objected to Perry using the glass.
The exchange led to an argument between Punk and Perry, with Perry reportedly upset about his plans being nixed.
Afterward, the company reportedly initiated guidelines to ensure that no performer used real glass without receiving permission from the office beforehand.
Furthermore, Punk reportedly told Perry that "Collision" doesn't have segments of that ilk and advised him to stay on "AEW Dynamite" if he had a problem with it.
While many people in the locker room described the situation as an argument between the pair, Punk's side claimed that Perry threw a tantrum.
