Let's just put this whole Tough Enough situation behind us, knowing full well that NXT will most likely chew both of the winners up and spit them out, and we won't see them on our TV for much longer.
Josh has an outside chance, if this is his only job, working out and training at NXT - He got pretty ripped in the 10 weeks of the show. Imagine doing this for 40+ hours a week as your job. I think he has a chance with his work ethic, athletic ability (college ball player) and some charisma.

Sara Lee has no chance.

Whats the deal with the Network, when do they put up the week's Raw for viewing? I set the DVR to record long and still missed the statue reveal

I think they put them up about a month after they air. Don't want to step on USA Network's toes I guess.

Yep. About 4 weeks behind.

I know I have said this before, but as someone who has cut the cable, I would pay double for the network if they showed RAW and Smackdown live on the network. Tired of using the site of first rows to get my RAW on Monday nights.

I think Sara has a WAY better chance of being on WWE TV. Her future may not be as a wrestler however, she may end up more valet/manager/backstage reporter, but as was repeatedly pointed out, she's extremely likable, and that is a lot harder to teach than wrestling skills.

Well Tough Enough is finally over. I picked Tanner and Sara Lee from the start, but thought Josh had a great chance.

Paige just comes off so terrible in the after-show. After trashing the girl who just won the contest, HHH had to step in a few times to talk the girl up.
For as big a train wreck as this was, it gave a fascinating insight into the "WWE Universe" and why Vince bristles when we call it "wrestling". The message we sent to the WWE throughout this process is "we don't care about the wrestling. We wants characters". The 2 absolute worst workers made the finals (1 of them winning it all) despite the fans being given chance after chance to reject them both. Today's fans aren't really much different than the ones who cheered for meatheads like Hogan and Warrior back in the day.
The WWE Universe didn't send any message. The internet sent a message that they should have done the cuts themselves, otherwise you get trolled.

True never thought of that. She can be a way better version of Jo-Jo.

Unfortunately for her she's got the personality of a dead moth.

Hulu has it the next day, thats how I watch. It's a 90 min version so a little is cut out but after you cut out USA's commercials you dont miss much.

Just watching the finale episode. Thought Amanda was going to die at the beginning. Match lasted maybe 5 minutes and thought one of them was going to get extremely hurt. Was wreckless.

Sara Lee's 3 minute match was nothing special but at least didn't feel someone was going to get hurt from it.

If voting based on the matches, I'd have voted Sara Lee. Amanda's a much better athlete but that match was just wreckless.

Cesaro's strength is insane lifting ZZ's dead weight. Sadly, their match kept my attention more than most matches on RAW do anymore.

Josh has a great look. He needs to ditch whatever he wore during his match. If he sticks with it, he's got a future with WWE. And probably a pretty good one. Did pretty damn well for his first match.

Well, that may be what some people on the internet were doing, but that's now how the WWE is going to interpret it. While the judges were anti Sara Lee, HHH came to her defense, basically saying she had that something that can't be measured. Mentioned his daughters were excited to meet her. Jericho said he thought the fans got it exactly right with these final 4. He said people called this a popularity contest and then said "you're damn right it is". The point is to find entertainers and they believe they accomplished that.

I hope the trolls had fun with it, because they just cast votes for style over substance. IMO, anyone who did that can't really complain if the WWE gives us a bunch of Sara Lees and ZZs. They asked for our input, and we gave it to them.

By the way, how great was Daniel Bryan on that show? I thought he treated every contestant with dignity and gave encouragement and sound advice. He obviously really cared about helping these young men and women accomplish their dreams. Kudos to him. I came out of this a much bigger fan of his. The opposite for Paige.

100 percent agree.

Paige tried way too hard to make herself the show. Any interest I had in her previously is gone.

Just weird having her tell others how to get over. Did I miss where she's gotten over big and made WWE money?

I've listened to Daniel Bryan being interviewed on numerous podcasts, and I can't think of any pro wrestler that comes across as legitimately nice, caring, down to Earth, and easy to get along with than Daniel Bryan. He's the type of guy that you'd love to have as a neighbor and you wouldn't mind your sister dating. He almost doesn't belong in the uber-macho, freakazoid, carny world that is pro wrestling, but he just happens to be one of the best in ring performers ever.

Austin is on flairs podcast... Great stuff as always but a little let down they didn't bring up roddy. His name came up in passing a few times and it was uncomfotable in those brief spots

How is Flair's podcast? I haven't given it a chance yet.

Taz is going 2 hours daily starting in September. I know I ragged on his podcast earlier, but it's kind of growing on me. Will be interesting what he does with 10 hours a week.

Flair is the best.... if I only had one to listen to it would be his... Austin was my top one prior

I love Flair, but whether he's eating or it's just a nervous habit, Ric does this weird, incessant lip smacking during his podcast that drives me ####### insane. I know I'm not alone because I've seen others with the same critique.

flair's is just unbelievably conversational though, so I can look past any idosyncracies. Just seems like you're eavsdropping, and you get the sense that he says much maybe he shouldn't say

Damn. Only listened a couple times. Is it all wrestling talk all 10 hours?

-------------------------------------------------------

The more I think about the Brooklyn crowd at RAW during the "Divas Revolution" match the more I applaud them. The storyline is ####. Get the belt off Nikki Bella and the crowd will pop for a "Divas Revolution". Hopefully it was a wake up call for WWE. But I doubt it. They still think this "Divas Revolution" as constructed is going great :lmao:

Xavier Woods playing "Taps" on the trombone as New Day was going for the winning pin might have been the highlight of the night.
I am 100% behind anything that lets Xavier Woods make more noise than he already does. Someone give that man a megaphone.

New Day is awesome. They look like they're having fun and are the highlight of their programming right now. If this faction is broken up anytime soon, someone should be given pink slips.

Why is it that WWE can't push a guy as a singles wrestler........while keeping them in the faction?? (ala Flair/Arn Anderson) Man have I hated this for the longest time. It's the same old repeated cycle with tag teams and factions. Cost quite a few their jobs when they never made it as singles guys (and no longer had the tag team fallback). At least with Harper they realized their colossal mistake and put him back with Wyatt.

That's true it is annoying. They tried with Ambrose giving him the U.S. title but they completely botched it.

Sasha needs to win the strap, throw it in the garbage and debut a new "womens" title. And ditch the three stupid teams.

I think the three teams will disband pretty quickly.

You saw seeds of a breakup between Charlotte and Becky Lynch  on NXT this week. Sasha really is too talented for her team. Brie will get knocked up anytime. Bailey will be on the main roster by WM. Natalya is itching to get back in there. Kana/Kanna has been signed from Japan with most likely a quick trip through NXT before hitting the main roster. Too many moving pieces for the team concept to stick together.

Worst crowd of the year?? You could hear a pin drop when New Day was doing their schtick & zero pop for the Dudley Boyz

This Ziggler/Lana/Summer stuff is the worst #### I've seen . Horrible & embarrassing

Xavier's hair tonight

Diva's stuff tonight was a big yawn

I think my favorite thing going right now is when Owens yells at Cole from the ring. Can't get enough of that shtick.

"Hey Cole...watch this you little jerk".

The black sheep Wyatt is terrifying. Nine year old Roman Reigns loving me would have nightmares about him. Bray suddenly feels important again. I don't think he's a long-term solution, but he's a great short-term patch to freshen up the Shield-Wyatt feud.

What about when Stephanie came out in that last segment with Rollins & Cena. Absolutely no fan reaction at all.

So let me get this straight, the Authority went from making a statue for Rollins to now saying he's not as good as HHH and needs to prove himself against Sting and Cena? I'm so confused.

I take comfort in knowing if they were actually trying to turn Rollins then they would have him fight HHH. Since that isn't happening, it just appears to be another weak turn in the story and not a full on disaster.

I assumed this is the road they were going down , laying the groundwork for after Rollins Vs Sting

Have HHH interfere so Rollins can beat Sting, end it with some sort of "you couldn't beat him on your own!" (HHH) or "I don't need your help!" (Rollins) and set them up for Mania? Or is it too early for that?

Sadly, the Divas Revolution is starting to whimper out. 3 matches lasting less than a combined 7 minutes. We can *hope* the supposed revolution will occur in earnest once Nikki Bella is dethroned and these 3-woman factions splinter off...

And....with most journalism today, we don't get the whole story. What changed after 32 years?
The case had gone cold after she died, but prosecutors decided to present evidence from the case to a grand jury after The Morning Call published a report raising questions about Argentino's death and publishing an autopsy report that labeled the case a homicide, the newspaper reports.

WWE ripping off ROH for the current main angle shows how sad WWE creative is.

Jay Lethal holds ROH title and TV title...facing reDragon (Kyle O'Reilly (don't forget this name) and Bobby Fish) in separate matches on same night for both titles at All Star Extravaganza.

Seth Rollins holds WWE title and US title...facing Sting and John Cena in separate matches on same night for both at Night of Champions.

Loved this guy in "the day"

20+ years ago I decided to surprise my wife with a snuka move. I exited the MBR at full stride and launched myself into the air while wearing nothing but my birthday suit. I was shouting "Superfly Snuka" as my wife groaned and yelled "Nooooooooooooooo"

I hit the bed and put everything Snuka would've into my move.

Unfortunately the bed exploded into thousands of pieces...

My wife was less than impressed.

It took a year and a half before I replaced the wounded bed and the stacked 4x4's that held her up. But to this day it makes a great cocktail story.

Wrong again. You might be better off in the Shark Pool.
