That was a lot of fun. Beat the men's Rumble match, no doubt.
No way, there was legitimately great booking by today's creative's standards in the men's match. It was well paced with good moments throughout the match. We had Corbin clearing out the ring for Elias' concert time, to Heath Slater getting waylaid by 6 other entrants before making it to the ring, to Jinder getting pelted with pancakes, to a great final 4 with excellent heat, to an awesome win setting up for what is hopefully a magical Wrestlemania match.

The women's Royal Rumble was still very, very good though. So glad the women superstars are getting rewarded for hard work and persistence.

AJ and Shinsuke better go on last.

Wrestlemania Orlando 24 doc was great as is the case with all these WWE behind the scenes productions.

I still can't believe I was in that crowd for the Hardy return. Big E coming back into the tunnel with, "Oh my... that's a pop."

Taker bit made my heart churn.

I'm new to WWE Network.  I was blown away by how good that BTS Wrestlemania doc was.    Liked how candid the wrestlers were.

And seeing some of the technical rehearsal stuff, like the production staff and Seth Rollins blocking and rehearsing his entrance and how he would set the ramp on fire.

I've been pretty fortunate to see most of the big sports and entertainment events I've wanted.  Saw Nitro in person when the nWo ruled the world, had floor seats for an ECW PPV and a SummerSlam.  But seeing that doc last night really made me want to catch a WrestleMania in person.

I was listening to a show on Sirius/XM this morning and they were talking with Coach about his "debut" tonight. The subject of that tweet came up and he laughed it off basically saying (paraphrased), "That was absolutely true at the time. The passage of time has created this opportunity. If people want to rip me for that take - which was correct for that time and place - so be it."

I understand his point. Social media posts are absolutely a snapshot and each has a specific context. Context changes over time and looking backwards an awful lot of takes look foolish. Or he's an idiot. Whichever.

Thought NXT show was terrific. Black/Cole & main event were great. Probably has to do with the fact he's not scripted every word, but Macho Man Velveteen Dream is better than most anything on the main roster. Chris Hero (whatever they're calling him now) is just a ####### slob. He looks like someone picked out of the crowd and they said "hey jump in the ring"

Rumble was meh. If it weren't bad enough women went last on Rumble, they had to put Stephanie on commentary. Every bit as bad as Art Donovan. Only thing that would have topped it would be "How much does she weigh?' These days she is one of the worst things in wrestling TV history. At least Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly and the Bellas were there so their unbelievable wrestling contributions could be celebrated.

With how horrible their every week product is, devoid of any storylines or continuity, that's going to be the men in 10 years with surprise entries at the Rumble....."OMG SAMI ZAYN HAS RETURNED!!!" :lmao:  Looks like they really handled Dolph's return well. Guy needed to leave WWE yesterday. They have nothing for him outside the whole "I don't get the respect I deserve" schtick they've attempted 250 times with him.

They really should try out a NXT vs. WWE pay-per-view. It'd be more interesting than watching the same guys fight for the 1000000th time.

:lmao:  Art Donovan... Darn it Craig... :lmao:

I have to you Slater’s contribution to the Rumble was the highlight of the evening for my daughter. I don’t know if I have ever heard her laugh so hard.

He comes out and is all happy and then Boom!! He is down. Just  :lmao:

Whoever mentioned that the WWE24 on Wrestlemania Orlando, I hate and love you. It was fantastic but now I'm in a rabbit hole watching all of them. This is great stuff.

Really taking his role as Angle's kid seriously.

Seriously though, I hate the character, hate the gimmick, but sucks to see a young guy have to go through this.
Like 10,000 other things the WWE does, they did it wrong. They should have used the angle to keep giving him title opportunities, ones he doesn't deserve in order to get heat. What he gets is really tepid heat, like the crowd is bored with him.

I swear you, me and a couple of the other peeps here could book WWE light years better than what they are doing now.

I read yesterday somewhere that Miz's kid is due pretty close to WM and he is not missing the birth/afterglow for anything.  I will try to find the link.

SD has gotten a stale to me.  Just no interest in their storylines anymore.  The whole AJ vs Owens/Sami thing has been done to death. The Bryan vs Shane thing is annoying, and I wouldn't be surprised if it led to a match at WM for control of SD.  What was once the land of opportunity has become a wasteland.

Interesting, because I've actually enjoyed what they've been doing with JJ recently

I haven't watched either RAW or SD in months. I keep the network for the PPVs, NXT which I will binge watch once a month, and then to watch whatever Conrad and Bruce talk about on Something To Wrestle With

Bruce Prichard.
