CORRECTION:  There will be a battle royal to kick off next week's Dynamite.  The winner of that will face current AEW #1 contender Jon Moxley in the main event later that night. 

That winner will face the winner of Tanahashi - Godo at Dominion.  The winner of that match will be the AEW Interim World Champion.

I was also shocked he didn't sneak in a line or two about how awesome Sting is, since he was always all over his nuts back in the PWI days.

Too much make up and they changed her look way too much. I guess they didn't want her over running some other women. Raw or Smackdown is incredible boring when she isn't champion though. 

 
Damn Cody. 

Seth's worked against two great ones in last 2 programs (Reigns/Cody) but by far my favorite run for him in the company. Finally grasping the entertainment aspect of being a top guy. There's never been a money making top star just being a "great worker"

Cody! Shocking, compelling match. What a performance by both him and Seth.

It sucks that nowadays it takes wrestling with a genuine injury to evoke such a story. I really only think a couple of guys in New Japan can tell stories like that without any sort of out of kayfabe reason elevating the reasons to watch the match.

 
Those "couple of guys" being Tanahashi and Okada, two of the best to ever wrestle.

Okada sells the match as a legitimate sporting event. Tanahashi sells the match as a legitimate struggle. Tanahashi is the best babyface I've ever watched in person.

What Cody did last night was special; I don't want anyone else to do it lmao.

I do think that Seth is one of the few guys that can eat a ton of losses and be none the worst for wear. He wins Money In The Bank next PPV, all is forgotten. I do think Seth should have won the second match if you were putting Cody over here. Guessing before The Torn Pec Heard Around The World we were leading towards and undefeated Cody meeting up with Roman at a stadium show. Now, who knows.

With Cody down and Randy down, the roster suddenly gets pretty thin at the top. Will be interesting to see who gets a chance to main event and who they might call up from NXT. 

And all props given to Cody. The guy lives his gimmick more than any guy I have seen since Bret Hart, even more so. His matches are must see just for the blurred lines between work and shoot.

Agreed. 

These losses don't hurt Seth in the least. I think he's been great from what I've seen over the past 6 months or so finally grasping the entertainment aspect and connecting with the audience. I also think with Cody out he or Theory win MITB. I'd lean Theory just because Seth has already done it and might be above being the MITB briefcase holder. I don't really get the title unifications TBH or otherwise I'd say one of those belts to Seth.

 
AEW announces new belt the All Atlantic belt. Essentially their version of the IC Title. A tournament is happening tonight with 8 men. 4 who win will have a 4 way Dance at Forbidden Door 

 
Rampage will have Osprey and Aussie Open vs Baretta and FTR after The United Empire attacked them. 

Dynamite will have a triple threat ladder tag between JE, The Young Bucks and Hardyz for the AEW Tag Titles. 

 
Not saying this just because but if she's cleared and they are comfortable with it Paige should go and AEW needs to sign her. She'd add another legit female to their roster that needs some more credibility to be taken seriously. She's still only 29 similar age as Hangman. I always liked Paige and not just because she is good looking. She's a legit wrestler and has a great backstory. Dam sham how injuries effected her career.

July 7th will be the last day with WWE. I’m so thankful and I appreciate the opportunities that the company has given me.

I will always be appreciative of the company that took in an 18-year-old British pale emo girlthat didn’t look like your average diva, giving me the chance of a lifetime and making me feel like a superstar.

I know after my neck injury took me out of in-ring status, it was pretty hard to keep me around for as long as you did, and for that, I’m thankful too.

Thank you to the WWE Universe. You guys are the most passionate group of fans I’ve ever seen. Hope you continue to stay on this journey with me.

I think the toughest part weirdly enough is having to let the Paige name go! But Saraya is helluva name. Kudos to my mum for that one.

FYI I’m not saying I’ll never be in the ring. That day will most certainly come again! Wherever the return maybe.

She may not have been cleared by E doctors for same reasons as Edge and Danielson, but before I signed her I’d want an independent doctor to look over her neck. We are talking about E doctors who can’t correctly diagnose a hangnail. OTOH, being a quadriplegic is a lifelong condition. I’d want to make very, very sure she can take bumps.

I agree and we all know how much the E drs screw up. Honestly that'd be one of my biggest reasons if I was wrestling why I wouldn't sign. I'm putting my body on the line and if I can't trust your med staff with my health why should I sign with you?

Also a lot of my insider sources were shocked they cleared Danielson but I heard that was more or less they were trying to make sure he resigned with them and didn't go elsewhere. He saw right through what they were doing. Danielson even made sure he could get out of any deal because he wanted to wrestle in Japan again and asked WWE to give him permission if he resigned with WWE to compete in Japan. He knew they'd say no. 

Also Cody didn't go back to WWE because he missed it there. He knows his worth and there to collect the one title his family never held in the WWE title. Don't think for 1 sec if one of the talents went to Cody about getting out of their WWE deal he wouldn't give them tips or suggestions. Its true he had a falling out in AEW and such but I think if the right oppurtunity presented itself he'd run back over in a heartbeat. He's in WWE for 2 things $$$$$ and cement his family legacy winning the 1 belt to elude their family.

Got around to reading about this PPV finally and looks like it was a solid show. Wish they had an easier and cheaper way to watch it. Most impressed with Kamille going almost 18 minutes in a match. She has a great look and move set, she should be making big money with the big companies. Being married to Thom Latimer I guess makes it an easy decision to stay for now.

Not sure why they are going with Murdoch again with the title when you have Aldis, the former Dexter Lumis and Homicide on the roster, but I'm not holding the pencil. Best of luck to the former Damien Sandow as he wrestled his last match. Show up Monday on RAW as "Elias"?

 
Jeff Hardy is suspended by AEW and has agreed to rehab from AEW. Booker T came out literally saying AEW bares responsibility for this. I don't get where he's going with this. He can speak on Jeff's past issues in WWE but all he's doing here is assuming with something he isn't apart of. In these types of certain situations I hate people throwing their opinions in the mix who have zero clue whats going on as they weren't there, specially when they make these kinds of accusations. 

In other news Ladder match is now Bucks vs Jurrassic express, Osprey goes 1 on 1 with Will Osprey, and Tana and Mox will have a face to face. I can see the Young Bucks winning the ladder match setting up Good Brothers vs Bucks at FB. I think BC makes an invasion type thing after the ladder match.

Pretty sure Omega once wrestled a broom, and there have been matches between invisible people, but has someone ever wrestled themselves??  I know in The Office Dwight showed how he would fight himself.

He should be in prison. I get that he has addiction issues, and I would hope he could get help with that there, but my sympathy level for someone who gets multiple DUIs is nil.  Too many die from drunk driving to where I am willing to take that chance for Jeff Hardy's personal growth.

🤣 Can't believe they went back to Murdoch again for their world title. Guy has no business holding the world title anywhere. His world title program with Mike Knox was about as bad a program as one could imagine. They may as well have held the script in front of them while cutting their Wrestling 101 promos.

Never should have taken the belt off Aldi's (by Murdoch anyway). Billy Corgan seems to have this weird thought that Murdoch is the modern day Harley Race.

I blame the system honestly. It sucks. The justice system and that for rehab. But that is for a totally different thread. We as a society have failed people dealing with addictions

Also looks like we are finally getting those Vince McMahon improper work behavior and People Power himself John Laurinitis is also involved in it. At least 1 $3M settlement for a former employee Vince had an affair with that was consensual is being reported so far. Numerious other NDA's for Misconduct could be involved between the two. Investigation started in April when the $3M settlement was handled. 

Board of Directors for WWE issues a simple Status quo Statement they are cooperating with the Independent Investigation 

McMahon and Laurinaitis more plus did Nia Jaxx tweet from April foreshadow this?

 
Andrade and Lucha Bros won't be apart of Forbidden door do to Political reasons regarding Lucha Promotions CMLL and AAA. CMLL is in an exclusive Partnership with NJPW since 2OO9. AAA hasn't seen eye to eye with them or NJPW for awhile.
