Let’s cheapen MITB win even more with Punk screwing Seth and Drew again. Now we got to wait a whole year for someone to win the briefcase again. If you want punk to Interfere just make it during the ladder match.
Lol, what? This is, literally, the hottest (and most interesting) thing going on in wrestling right now. Who give a rat's *** about the briefcase? It's a tired trope anyway. The feud is absolute gold right now.

AEW has zero story telling. They'll start something than drop it the next week. Tell me, how did they follow up the 'shocking ' piledriver given to Tony Kahn? Or Adam Cole as the devil? Or the numerous cluster-eff's Jericho gets involved in? Putting up 'dream match' after 'dream match' doesn't matter to the general public if there is no storyline attached to it. That's why their 'A' shows ratings are in the crapper.
Not really I hate **** finishes and all this interference. It’s actually really refreshing watching some of these AEW and a lot of NJPW matches and getting a clean finish besides the heel finishes without all this interference from outside. I also am probably the biggest Drew McIntyre fan. I marked out for his TNA debut. Was really happy when he went back to WWE. When his contract was up I was hoping he’d go do New Japan as it’s one of the few places he hasn’t won in. Drew is the type of talent who should have the title on him for a long time. Punk is just an out of shape bitter old man who thinks he’s better then everyone. I was pretty happy for Cody knowing he’d go back and win the title too. Always liked Cody but I was getting tired of his gimmick in AEW similar to Cena never wanting to turn heel kind of way. Didn’t mean I hate Cody.
There’s a good bit of WWE talent I like. I wish they were elsewhere for sure but I wish them success.
The general public is pretty dam dumb to begin with. I work with the general public daily and most need to be spoon fed and hand held to get them to the finish line and lazy as ****. It’s why we have all this crap for music because the American music industry knows people are dumb enough and it sells.
I don’t care about general storylines or soap operas that is mostly WWE. I’d rather watch the matches. Raw is 3 hrs each week and out of those 3 hours there’s been weeks of almost barely 1 hour of wrestling.
And AEW has done a lot of storyline lately.
Hangman vs Bryan is pretty good story that happens back to Hanger and Swerve.
Will Swerve goes back to their time on the indies.
MJF has had a storyline for awhile.
Half the ******** I hear about AEW is just buzzwords used by failed wrestling promoters or people (former talent) who have comfy legends contracts. Most of who knew about Vince’s in let’s just say extracurricular activities. Then you got all the people WWE pays off constantly to do good PR for them. I know this because one of my former coworkers worked for them in production for 2 1/2 decades. AEW has its problems but I anticipate it every week. I haven’t felt that with WWE for yrs. I felt like WWE is just insulting my intelligence
I do find it funny how all these people are finally seeing Joe Hendry. Yeah he’s been wrestling for 11 yrs. He was great in ICW the Scotland biggest promotion. Wrestled Big Damo in a great rivalry Damo was in NxT with Nikki Cross in Sanity with Eric Young. When whatculture/Defiant was hot he was there too. Then went to TNA where his best fued to start was Eli Drake aka LA Knight.
Maybe if people were more openminded they’d find these talents sooner. A lot of people aren’t wrestling fans per day just fans of a certain brand. And Vince has done a great job of the whole tribalism. He had 20 yrs to make it. That’s what I ended up doing when punk left. For yrs he was actually my favorite wrestler till I found out what a fraud he was. I was also already watching ROH and CZW and other promotions going to then here in Philly. Opened up a whole new world and wasn’t as arrogant to the products. Hell I was a huge TNA guy back in 08-09 until about 2012-2013. Broken stuff then stopped watching after they screwed the Hardy’s over and they had to gain my trust again.
The only WWE product I try to watch is NxT and honestly that’s a bit hard some weeks. I find watch WWE in PPVs (I refuse to call them PLEs) is the best. They are so easy to follow the stories thanks to spoon few video summaries before the matches.
