***Official*** Saturday Night Football Game Thread (1 Viewer)

The Oakland Raiders have declared QB Aaron Brooks, OG Brad Badger, OG Corey Hulsey, TE James Adkisson, WR Jerry Porter, RB LaMont Jordan, WR Randy Moss, CB Tyrone Poole inactive for Week 16.

The Kansas City Chiefs have declared QB Brodie Croyle, DL Jimmy Wilkerson, OT Kyle Turley, CB Marcus Maxey, RB Michael Bennett, LB Rich Scanlon, DL Tim Sandidge, OL Tre' Stallings inactive for Week 16.

I am declaring at least 175 yds rushing and 3 tds for LJ.
That'd be nice considering I'm leaning hard on him myself (TJones at RB2).My call - Kansas City Defense rules the game. Sacks, INTs, FRs, oh my. Will the Raiders get shutout for the fourth time this year? I'm thinking there's a real good chance......

I have no stake in this game, but feel comfortable (as is possible with this type of prediction) that LJ will have a career night tonight.

220/4, 50/1

KC rolls an Oakland team that has quit on the season after learning Shell will be fired and now that the probowl selections have been made.

I'm pretty sure that Adam Schefter said that Porter is also unavailable.

I think that fits right with our reporting he didn't practice, just surprised he's dressing for the game.

This may be one of the worst singing of the National Anthem I have ever heard. That was horrible.
I agree. "Malika" should hang it up. She can't sing her way out of a wet paper bag.Doesn't beat the performance by Carl Lewis for worst ever National Anthem....at least she remembered the words.....

great this will be the week Oak has an offense and KCs D was a horrible play

KC is gonna get up on them fast, then Walter is gonna have to throw a ton.

Hopefully KC can get at least 2 INT returns. hehe.

LJ looks awful tonight...

Down on first contact, then wander back to the huddle. Looks like he's checked out of the season already.

LJ is making a run at Playoff Bust/Loser/Goat...whatever you want tocall it. Can't survive if he puts up under 10 like he did last week...remember this when you are trying to debate him as a possible top3 selection next year...Herm Edwards did change this offense for the worse...where's Yudkin?

We've got a game two nights removed from Christmas, on a semi-national network, between two teams with limited fantasy ownership (ok, LJ and Gonzo, KC Def, but not many) in a championship week so maybe 20% or fewer have an interest. Little or no playoff implications.

What's theO/U on pages, 5? (I know, I'll be a factor here, just sayin').

He looks slow and isn't attacking the line. Looks hesitant, waiting for a hole to open. Um, Larry, you're a big strong back. Bang it up on in there and make your own openings. Five plus yards are just fine and waiting for you.

Still catching up, but did Gumbel say "they will eschew the long field goal...."?ESCHEW????
:wall: I was thinking the same thing. Heads shaking in living rooms everywhere. This guy is terrible. Also, can he ever get a name right? When Kennison went down to try to catch a ball, Gumble said that JOHNSON was having a hard time with his footing.

What's with Gumbel the apologist? "This game is a sellout, but this is the Saturday before Christmas, lots of people traveling and shopping, etc." Um, I'd bet lots of Christmas Eve games and Christmas Night ones will have a full house. Lame.

Kris Wilson could easily be Tony Gonzalez's replacement next year in KC. Watch for Gonzo to test the open waters with lots of $$ to be had. Wait for NO, GB and Carolina to call.

Chris Carr is a good returner and a part of that young secondary. Dynasty / IDP players take note, especially if you get KR/PR credits.

**** Vermeil is doing well tonight, telestrating well how both O-lines are blocking / pulling to set up run plays. That's good stuff.
