*** official "scary talented" Titans @ Chiefs WC game thread. Go Titans!!!!11!! (1 Viewer)

It's almost like you didn't even read the rule. The rule clearly says "outside the tackle box" (and the vast majority of RB head-lowering takes place inside the tackle box). Also, the rule says "initiates forcible contact", which would disqualify situations where the RB lowered his head solely to avoid being tackled.

Man, I really need to rethink all of your posts in the Political Subforum.
I read it. And plenty of RBs are met by a DB outside the tackle box and lower their heads and "initiate forcible contact" trying to run through them causing helmet to helmet collisions. It's never called
If only you had described it that way in your original post, instead of the part where you said "every single time a RB is met head on and lowers his head".

Use words to write out the actual thoughts in your head. Don't expect the rest of us to be mind readers.

Chris Jones is a nice player, would be bad to lose him. Didn’t seem like he was hurting too much, though.

If Titans don’t get their #### together real fast, this game is ovah.  Game is better with vodka.   :pickle:

I watched the refs after the play, literally no one marked where the runner went down. Pathetic the titans have to waste a challenge.

I haven't heard that until now.
Bensinger opened up the interview by asking Smith if it felt like the 2017 season would be his last year in Kansas City.

"For sure," Smith said. "It absolutely does. Without a doubt."

Despite his brutally honest answer, Smith didn't sound bitter about his situation.

Smith has played better this season than ever.

So whatever he thinks, it seems to be raising his level of play.

The more aggressive play on his part has always been a missing element. He has played well this year and good luck to him whatever happens.

And the Chiefs would be "selling high" on a soon to be 34 year-old QB.  Kind of savvy.

On thing I have learned from RIck Spielman, is that putting a fire under your players feet usually motivates them.

Seems to be the case with Smith.

Agree he is getting up there and good timing for KC to move on. Even if Smith plays the best football of his careeer at age 34-37.

I wonder if he is the first NFL QB ever whose first postseason TD pass was to himself.
