*** official "scary talented" Titans @ Chiefs WC game thread. Go Titans!!!!11!! (1 Viewer)

New rule proposal: fumbles caused by helmet-to-helmet contact (especially "targeting" type hits) are automatic dead balls.

I absolutely hate the NFL, an utterly pathetic joke of a sports league, and being a Chiefs fan is a curse.

Why do I watch?

Why?

Why.

WHY???????

Good luck trying to figure out what plays get reviewed and what plays get overturned or stand with Riveron running the show.

Smith a bit quick to throw the ball. He seemed to react to pass rush that wasn't there.

Gets the ball to West for a 1st down though.

That is 100% helmet to helmet. No flag?
no helmet to helmet when a runner
RULE 12, SECTION 2, ARTICLE 8 - INITIATING CONTACT WITH THE CROWN OF THE HELMET.  It is a foul if a runner or tackler initiates forcible contact by delivering a blow with the top/crown of his helmet against an opponent when both players are clearly outside the tackle box (an area extending from tackle to tackle and from three yards beyond the line of scrimmage to the offensive team’s end line).

This rule applies whether the player is a "runner" or not.
