What is your thought process here? Bernie would be the most liberal Democratic candidate ever and Cruz would be the most Conservative Republican candidate in memory? They are the most polar options.
I'm a conservative in most arenas but value character and honesty a great deal. I'd rather have a moral person who I disagree with in charge than a person I agree with but don't trust. Also, I'd rather vote for Turd Ferguson than Trump or Clinton.
I get it and suspect there are many others looking at in a similar way. I am just not sure I think Cruz is a moral person. He and Bernie are so radical that it scares me. It is too bad the GOP couldn't come up with anything viable as Clinton does poll as unlikeable and untrustworthy, but somehow the GOP found a frontrunner that people find even more unlikeable and untrustworthy.
No. That's why I barely have him over basically voting for nobody. If I didn't agree with his policies he'd be down around Trump/Clinton territory.
