Does anyone know of a good way to find online radio streams for European games? I work most Saturday mornings during the spring (like I am right now) and would love to listen to some EPL games. I don't want anything shady if possible, and I don't need a video stream.
Try here. See if this works for #### vs Stokehttp://tunein.com/radio/Arsenal-v-Stoke-Feb-2-2013-p486393/

Fabian Johnson started for Hoff this morning. Good sign that he will be ready for the qualifier. Jones is starting for Schalke. Cameron is now playing his 5th different spot for Stoke today. He has played CB, RB, LB, DM and today lines up at CAM. That is tremendous versatility to show in a top league.

Damn, looked like it was going to work, and once it started....."thanks for trying to listen to Absolute Radio. Unfortunately, due to restrictions, current programming on the channel is not available outside the United Kingdom. Please try again at 5 PM."Thanks for looking, though. I will keep an eye on that link in the future.

Crap, my bad for not testing. Here, I tested this one. It sounds great and very nice interface. Takes 10 seconds to register for free and then you can start listening. This will work every where but in Europe. The first link is to the site and the second is an article on the servicehttp://www.talksport.com/http://thenextweb.com/media/2012/08/18/talksport/

Thanks for this. It keeps signing me out every time I go to a different page and I don't want to deal with it right now, but I will definitely be using this for the rest of the season (assuming I can get it to work). Looks pretty awesome.

I know some clubs stream their games on their websites. I do that for Barcelona sometimes.

So who here can't get beIN Sport yet? The US qualifier against Honduras will be on that channel next Wednesday at 4:00pm eastern
Anyone else irked a bit by ESPN pushing so hard for El Tri? Apparently ESPN is becoming the qualifying home for El Tri as they try for Brazil 2014 yet they can't even get USA? I guess it is all about the money but just another reason to not watch ESPN I guess.

I'm just happy they now have a stake in covering qualifying and more of the sport. We all know they like to push sports they have money in and bury ones they don't.

I guess. Just read an article that says they still have all home USA games just not USA nor Mexico away games so that makes it better. And I guess now we at least get the US-Mexico game in Azteca as opposed to years past. But just seeing the commercial while sort of ignoring US qualifying still perturbs me a bit.

Ghana and Mali are through to the semi finals. Mali knocked out the hosts South Africa.Tomorrow is the fun Nigeria vs Ivory Coast quarterfinal.

Twitter rumors that part of TFC's motivation for unloading Eric Hassli is to make a run at Freddy Adu. There's Old DC connections at TFC in Kevin Payne and Ryan Nelsen. Hoping this is true

Cape Verde punched over their weight throughout their run. They came very close to equalizing at the end. An empty netter by Ghana made it 2-0 but the final score wasn't indicative of the match (at least the part I saw).Mali looked the better side in the second half but it's too bad the hosts are gone. The games involving Bafana Bafana have had much better atmosphere than the others.

My first instinct is a shiver as well.

Bayern drubbed Mainz 3-0 at Mainz today to move to 16-3-1 51:7It's nice to be able to sub in Robben and Gomez, but you have to think those players aren't very happy with the situation.

:no:TWC in NYC finally picked it up, but I didn't (didn't want to pay the extra money per month for something I'll likely not watch. But thanks to this thread, I'll get it for game and then dump it until the two games in March.

YES.The advertised the upcoming Mexico games more than the US games during that Canada friendly, So much so that I'm about willing to not watch ESPN as a result... that'll learn 'em.

The Stoner really needs to cool it with that AMURICAN! shtick.
Not to worry, pretty sure you only have a few more weeks to worry about this. And yes, I totally agree with you. Annoying as ####.

Big win for United today, imo. Fulham coming off a thumping in FA play had to be up for this one, and Craven always a tough place to play. United really controlled the first half, and then well, blah. And these were the kind of games the past year or two United would draw (or lose outright) but they really fought through it and got full points which was huge. I really do not like Chicharito, but bring him on changed a lot of the tactics of the game, and stretched out the Fulham defense. And I really liked bringing on Welbeck even later to put even more pressure on the home side. Chelsea is done, they will be lucky to cling onto a CL spot, and to be honest, may not be deserved. City with a big test in front of them tomorrow, made even tougher knowing they really need full points to keep pace with United.Yeah, I'm a huge Rooney fan, but I really do not think he gets anywhere near his full due as far as how talented he is. He is all over the place, makes fantastic break out passes, is always back on defense, and you need a goal, well he does that too. I think he's been absolutely fantastic this year.Any how, that's all I've got. :banned:

You don't need beIN Sport for either game in March. ESPN has the the rights to all home qualifiers and the road qualifier in Mexico. That covers both games in March. It won't be until June that you would need beIN Sport again.

Hassli was a fascinating player. He had the goods to score goal of the year type goals and then disappear for games on end.

:goodposting: The chatter in England this year is that United really aren't very good. They are 10 points ahead of the rest, so if they aren't very good, the rest of the EPL must be terrible.Of course, the chatter is nonsense. They ARE very good. The acid test is coming - Real Madrid home and away. Can't wait.

The team who finished tied for first adding RVP cannot be considered "not very good" imo. I can't understand that thinking.

Nigeria playing well and up 1-0 at halftime over that favorites Ivory Coast. Terrible gking allowed in a free kick late in the half. The shot was a blast but it literally went by the keepers ear and his hands were in front if his face.

Nigeria through to semi's after beating Ivory Coast 2-1. African football is a lot of things but predictable is not one of them. You could have got good odds betting that neither the hosts nor tournament favorites would make the semi finals.

Solid 3 points on the road today for Spurs. That puts them just 1 point out of 3rd now behind Chelsea.
 , but I'm a little worried about the lack of forwards.
:goodposting: More disappointing play from Dempsey. Given his history with Dembele, I'd figure they'd be hooking up in spades... but it's been patchy at best. Could be a positional thing, but so far he's just looked out of place for Spurs- yeah, he's snagged a handful of scrappy goals, but otherwise just not a useful part of the attack (although he had a decent game against United IIRC). Hate to say it, but it's similar play to what he does for the US.

Great game -- haven't been as entertained as that in awhile. And that's the best Liverpool have looked in at least as long. Can start to see the makings of a good side there. And Sturridge was worth every penny.

He has been poor, but he's the only striker they have at the moment. In some ways it's hard to criticize Levy because he does so much with a much smaller budget. Chelsea, City, United, Arsenal, and Liverpool are all light years ahead of Tottenham in terms of financial ability. His reluctance to buy striker depth is frustrating though. It cost them a CL spot last year and it may cost them one this year as well. It's incredibly short-sighted of Levy, but I guess you take the good with the bad.
