I reallllllllllllllllly hope this is true.Twitter blowing up - Moyes to United, all but confirmed.
lol....from Twitter - United fans will pay tribute to Sir Alex during the 98th minute against Swansea on Sunday.
If SAF stays on as a director, as is being reported, I think it makes an already very difficult situation even worse. Moyes may be the right guy in that situation though - seems that he's got a bit less ego than the typical big name manager.Native said:No pressure Davey Boy.Steve Tasker said:Twitter blowing up - Moyes to United, all but confirmed.

I know it's been posted more than once, but I still laugh every time I see this.
Deuce on now. Setting up nicely for the late Bale winner.
92nd minute?Deuce on now. Setting up nicely for the late Bale winner.92nd minute?
Where's Tasker when you need him?Everything towards staying up. Arsenal is in for a dog fight.Gonna be interesting to see what Wigan does next week, they're in a tricky spot with the FA Cup Final and fighting to avoid the drop.
Wigan was brutal defensively against Swansea. I don't see them escaping relegation this year.Everything towards staying up. Arsenal is in for a dog fight.Gonna be interesting to see what Wigan does next week, they're in a tricky spot with the FA Cup Final and fighting to avoid the drop.
I hope he drives them right into the ground.
I hope he drives them right into the ground.

It's definitely going to be interesting. SAF could conjure victories out of nowhere. The '10-'11 squad was not up to snuff, but he drove them forward through strngth of character. That ability is not replaceable. They are simply going to have to spend more money now to keep up with the likes of City and Chelsea.GoFishTN said:SmoovySmoov said:I hope he drives them right into the ground.GoFishTN said:![]()

I don't really keep up with their finances too much, but doesn't Man U still have debt problems from the Glazers takeover? I know they had some money to spend lately, but I assumed that was from sold players. It's definitely going to be interesting. SAF could conjure victories out of nowhere. It's not really a problem per se. They make a boatload of money and the debt is within reason. They will never be able to compete financially with City or Chelsea though regardless of how much bigger their revenue machine is. The sugar daddy teams can simply dissolve massive losses into their owner's checkbook (or that of their companies). FFP wasn't designed to deal with this.I don't really keep up with their finances too much, but doesn't Man U still have debt problems from the Glazers takeover? He adresses the crowd every year....what's the big deal?So a couple weeks ago my wife's friends mention they are going to be in England and it happened to work out that they got time and tickets to the United v Swansea game. A little jealous but figuring the game would be meaningless since United would have already wrapped up the title made them going a me not a little easier to take... Plus I dont think they are actually soccer fans.
Anyway, now with all the announcements of SAF retiring and addressing the crowd after the game and the team lifting the trophy I am extremely jealous!![]()
