Cerci came on late and got a red card.

Not the finest match by my boys. Better to get this #### out of the way now though playing away to a probable top 4 side.

Valencia have some young talent. Not world beating, but quality. They certainly didn't shy away from picking up fouls, and they played fairly cohesively after going up 3. The midweek CL game against Juve certainly didn't help Atleti today.

I'm not pleased with Gabi or Miranda this season, as neither is showing their to class form last season. Juanfran sat today, although Gámez wasn't terrible, that change may have caused some of the disruption at the back.

Finally, for a target man center forward, Mandzukic heads the ball extremely well, but other than picking up yellows and aggregating CBs, he hasn't shown much. He and Griezmann never look they're on the same page. Griezmann, Koke, and Tiago had pretty good games. Godín and Arda were solid too, but they couldn't overcome some really ####ty play early on.

It's criminal that Turd stagen is starting CL games over Bravo
Agreed. I dont get the whole concept of rotating GKs...seems counterproductive.
Most teams would like to have a good backup keeper, but to keep one around you have to give them some games. Otherwise you have to cycle through new backups every year or find some really unambitious player who doesn't care if he ever gets to play.

But I agree, from a purely competitive standpoint it makes sense just to go with the better player.

Saw the 2nd half of the Villa City game... poor Villa- sitting back at the end after defending (and frankly, countering) so well earlier and then allowing MC to pass it into the net in the last 10.

Eibar equalizes at the death! Unreal...what a story. This is why I love this game.
I caught that. Tremendous atmosphere at Eibar. They were freaking out in the rain.

Then an hr later on Bein Marseille steals victory at the death as well.

Just got back from the LA Galaxy game vs. Toronto with my son. He bought me the tickets for my birthday.

We had fun, and it's a fun venue to watch in, and the beauty of soccer is it didn't out last him (a 7-year old). He also bought good midfield seats about 18 rows up on the field level, which were pretty ideal to watch from. I'll probably go again, especially because soccer seems to be his preferred sport.

Nice. I caught the last 300mins of that one. Didn't know it was on or might have made more an effort to watch Bradley vs. Donovan.

Let me know if you go to the last home game this year on the 19th vs. Seattle. I'll be there. Buy you a beer. Or if you don't drink you can buy me a beer. Hell, I'll you let buy the beer either way.

Bradley was getting frustrated, and there were some kicks exchanged between he and Donovan over the course of the match. I started focusing on them and saw what I thought was some woofing between the two of them. Mostly it looked like Donovan was the instigator, and of course the way the game was going wasn't helping Bradley's mood.

Announcers missing the boat on the Wenger/Mourinho thing.

Wenger can't let Mourinho tell him what to do there. You have to respond with aggression. Same idea as #####-slap politics.

Disagree. Had Mourinho pushed Wenger wed be talking fines, suspensions and worse. Great drama but completely uncalled for,

Well, reputation does come into it. Mourinho's got a pretty good history with this stuff, and, chatter aside, the replay looked like Mourinho was the one who initiated the confrontation by leaving his box to tell Wenger to get back in his after Wenger was jawing at the officials.

Could have all that wrong obviously. But if that's how it went down I think Wenger did the right thing. Mourinho knows what he's doing and likes to play the bully. Can't back down from that and look weak in Arsenal's situation.

Love it when the suits get physical. The NFL should think about putting HCs next to each other during the game. Can you imagine Rex Ryan and Andy Reid bumping bellies?

Favorite moment of 1H was Chelsea physio tending to Courtois, Courtois staring back lovingly into her eyes, and the other Chelsea lackey cuckold physio pushes her hair out of her face for him. :lmao:

Everton deserved a point but thankfully De Gea came up big. United's defense still very average but looks much better than earlier in the season. McNairs actually done really well - Rojo hasn't outplayed him. RvP has not been impressive - I would consider letting Rooney partner with Falcao some and give Mata more games. One thing for sure is the new players in the side need better fitness. Blind and Falcao faded the last 30 and ADM lost a little. Rafael has played really well - I think Scooby pointed it out but United have no backup for him - Smalling isn't the answer especially when injured. I guess Valencia could slot in but he makes me nervous. Good 3 pts though - have to be happy after the start to the season.
