How in the world anyone could decide to work with Abi is beyond me.
Well, if you can get a consensus, you're much better off with the next vote. They had the numbers with Woo, why did they care what Abi wanted?
How in the world anyone could decide to work with Abi is beyond me.

This happens on this show and BB. Everyone seems to kowtow to the crazy person just to avoid the crazy. Here's an idea, vote the crazy out.Amazing that Abi has become a power player, and done so by people fearing her crazy. Wonder how she feels watching this, all the eye rolls etc.
This is what I was wondering too. Why not just keep Woo for challenges and vote off Jeff and Abi? Although Woo could get dangerous if he has ties on other tribes during a merge. But he's always in the fog so he might not be as much of a threat as they think. They had the numbers with Woo, why did they care what Abi wanted?
And more of the other tribes in general. I feel like they could have gone with 2 hour shows this season so we could see whats going on with the other tribes. I liked Varner and am warming so Savage (I recall him being a #### on his original season), but there have to be some aspects of the other we are missing with so much focus on the yellow tribe.Btw, they can show more of that pig-tailed Monica.![]()
yesI like that Jeremy isn't telling his alliance he has the idol. Starting to pull for him.
I was wondering that too. I seem to think that Joe may have just 'stepped back' so as to not look like "a challenge beast" as you say. I don't know - I was pretty surprised by it though.I like that Jeremy isn't telling his alliance he has the idol. Starting to pull for him.
I missed when they chose the "runner" for the challenge. How was Joe not selected for that? That guy is a challenge beast, maybe the best the show has ever had. Ozzie was great in water challenges but not at puzzles and things like that.
This is the main problem with having three tribes, it is really difficult to balance the air time. And more of the other tribes in general. They could have forced the Varner vote last time. Or they could have voted off Abi last time. They chose to vote with her and work with her. They're not deciding to work with her. They're deciding not to be the next target of her crazy. Anyone who can balance the act the whole way will take her to the final to sit next to.How in the world anyone could decide to work with Abi is beyond me.
At this point, there have been 4 votes and 4 people from Woo and Abi's original tribe are gone. They're the minority in the other two tribes as well. Even if they shake tribes up again they're all behind the eight ball without some luck.
Makes me wonder why they care to tolerate Abi then. Everyone acts like Abi is a swing vote. They don't need her, but they need to keep Woo close now.At this point, there have been 4 votes and 4 people from Woo and Abi's original tribe are gone. Three annoying people in a row voted off though, that's pretty sweet. Cass next would be amazing but I have a feeling she goes far. She's getting a pretty sympathetic edit thus far.Guys, no one has been voted off Survivor "because they're annoying" or "because they're difficult to work with" for 10 years. Just like no one gets to stay "because he makes fire" or "because he catches fish" anymore. That's way old school, season 1 and 2 thinking. These are survivor pros here. They know Abi's the goat and are fine with it. There's no reason to vote her out yet.
The only reason to take down Abi is if you think you can't manipulate her, and if you think you can't manipulate her, then you think you're not good enough to win. No one thinks that way.
Agreed. But Terry Deitz is one of the original challenge beasts. That guy won a ton of challenges his season, IIRC. So it was probably a combination of Joe being ok with laying low and Deitz wanting to prove that he's still got it.I was wondering that too.

I wonder if it would have been different, though, if it were an immunity challenge rather than just for reward.
If you are the players you have to assume there will be more hero challenges to come. Saving Joe was smart.Well Joe did almost single handed carry them in the immunity challenge.Agreed. I was just thinking about it and the hero challenge seems designed to artificially clear the way for the strong challenge guys to make the merge. I bet we see a female hero challenge next.If you are the players you have to assume there will be more hero challenges to come. As a kid my siblings and I played blind hide and go seek. Both inside and out. Could he see or were they muting Kass' directions to him to make him look like a superhero? Because it was pretty ridiculous seeing him run with a big piece, avoiding obstacles and placing the piece down at just the right time and place without hearing anyone telling him what to do.
I think with the last vote Tasha and Savage still needed to be worried about Abi, Woo and Varner teaming up. But if they lose again, I can't see any reason to keep Abi.Makes me wonder why they care to tolerate Abi then. Everyone acts like Abi is a swing vote. Problem with Abi is she's too easily manipulated. All someone on the other side needs is 5 minutes and your whole plan can be destroyed. You can't rely on her. So if you're only going in with a 1 vote margin, its still basically a coin flip.Guys, no one has been voted off Survivor "because they're annoying" or "because they're difficult to work with" for 10 years. The Previously.TV recap contains this laugh-out-loud gem:Speaking of...Well Joe did almost single handed carry them in the immunity challenge.Agreed. Eventually, Joe stops waiting to be told where to go and just starts running out onto the course, possibly using sonar to detect and retrieve the puzzle pieces on his own.

Yeah if they lose again Abi is gone. she is not the best looking girl but yeah, there has always been a correlation between crazy and good in the sack and she looks like she would be a blast.I bet Abi is a wild, wild ride

If I were him I'd make love to all of the women, make them my concubines. Together we would vote against all those who stood in my path to victory. And while I am sure he is helped by the edit, Joe does appear to be great at everything. I think he did defer to Terry to keep as low a profile as he can. He knows that when the merge to one tribe comes he has a potential target on him any week he does not win immunity. I don't think there is really a strategy for him to protect himself with how good he is in challenges, but we will see what he comes up with.
