The pain was dulled by the 3 Lombardi trophies earlier in the decade. I can see comitting suicide if the team won nothing since 1960, though.

While I'm sure we'd all rather that the Pats win that game, I've been pretty happy watching my team have four of the top 50 seasons in NFL history, including four of the top ten Superbowls of all time (all decided in the fourth quarter by less than a score), while setting the records for most consecutive wins (21), most passing TDs, most receiving TDs, most points scored, and being the first team ever to get to 18-0, all during the same dynasty run. Oh, and the only two seasons the Pats missed the playoffs, they were in play on the final day of the season but ended up tied for the division lead. And they still have the best owner, best coach, best quarterback, best receiver, and have stockpiled the best draft picks of any team in the NFL going forward. But hey, you're still alive after the Iggles went 15-4 the year that we pasted you, and from the way you were chirping back then, that was the highlight of a run of NFC championships only slightly more unsatisfying that the Bills' consecutive Superbowl losses. I'm sorry that your team has pulled Charlie Brown's football out from under you so many times that you're reduced to rooting for the Bills the day after McNabb broke his ribs. But don't pretend you wouldn't trade the best Eagles season with the oh so terrible 18-1 Patriots season in a heartbeat. I said good day.
