Great episode...glad to see Morgan again.I had an issue with that knife wound recovery though.And Morgan talking about clearing...fine dude, come help me clear the prison. You'll be able to clear that bad boy every day.I'm hoping Morgan walkies Rick to find out which prison...then comes to flank the gov when he attacks.I felt it was a bit too much to buy that his wife is the one who bit his kid...but I guess it works.I struggle with how to deal with the hitcher...I need help...guns, people, etc...I'd consider stopping to talk to the guy...at gunpoint at least.Maybe it's time to duck out the back of the prison while the gov attacks...and slip off to the town that Morgan has worked so hard to clear.

Pretty sweet recovery from that stab wound. Also, nice that he's so forgiving when a dude he hung out with for a couple of dies tries to whack him.

It started last week with Rick trying to follow Lori's ghost around..

Rick is messed up right now after losing his wife and everything else.. Morgan is messed up with losing his wife & son.

Rick's continuous "You have to make it back from this" wasn't as much towards Morgan as it was Rick trying to convince himself that he needs to make it back.

Sidebar here, and I'm sure this must have been discussed in here at some point. But I'm picking up as much gas food and ammo as I can and I'm headed to the coast to grab a boat. I'm then headed to Key West and then the Bahamas. If either one of those places don't work out I'd sail south to one of the other small islands.

Good luck finding a boat since anyone with one or closer to the coast than you is already thinking the same thing.

Yup. Also did a nice job of illustrating the need to surround yourself with others. The two people alone in the episode were Morgan and the backpack guy. One's dead inside and the other's literally dead now. Rick's been pushing everyone away and was heading down Morgan's path. I think there was some self-awareness in his plea for Morgan to come back. His moment at the end with Michonne (which I loved) may be an indication he's pulling himself back from the brink. He's seen his possible future with both Morgan and the backpack guy.

IMDB has him listed for the 3/31/13 episode, Welcome to the Tombs. IMDB has been known to be wrong plenty of times though.In the comic, he does indeed join the group at the prison. Thing is, this show has diverged from the comic quite a bit.I'd say the jury is still out, and I wouldn't be shocked either way.

Don't forget, the show seems to be in the summer mainly, in the South. Here in Charlotte, the rain spigot sometimes shuts off as soon as it gets summer hot. It can rain and you can have some bad storms roll through, but it can be dry for weeks at a time.Loved the episode, kind of funny that we were just talking about Morgan and his son. Great story about how he couldn't kill his wife and that was why his son got bit.

Andrew Lincoln and Lennie James had a lot of complaints in this thread about being crappy actors in the pilot(myself included).But they both really stepped it up in that episode

I agree. Carl was annoying at first, but he's shown to be a valuable member of the team. They seem to be bringing him along gradually, which is good IMO. He thinks he is ready to be on his own, but they showed that he really needed Michonne with him in the store. He may have bit it if it weren't for her sticking the guy behind the counter. So now he trusts her. And it was good to see them write some good lines/scenes for Michonne to show she is feeling comfortable with Rick's group. I hope Morgan joins them later on.

I'm surprised they didn't take some of those spears, or at least the knives tied onto the end of the sticks. Long reach and all.

I am sure people remember Morgan from Jericho, but I happened to turn on The Mist over the weekend (somewhere in the middle) and turned it off because I couldn't stand the goofiness of how people acted. Does anyone remember that Carol was the lady at the beginning that left the store and showed up with the army at the end of the movie?

A very solid episode with only a few members of the regular cast but i dont see how Morgan didnt remember Rick in the beginning. I know Morgan has kind of lost it, but it has only been about a year since they last saw each other. I do hope Morgan joins the group at the prison, he was solid (acting wise). I do hope Michonne sticks around as well, she comes off weird but i enjoy what she brings to the group.

If my group was going to war with the governor, I would Shane as my leader, not Rick.

Rick's made his share of mistakes but that's what I like about him and the show. He's not perfect and the show makes no attempt to paint him as being perfect. He's trying to figure out how to survive just like everyone else; he just has a lotta people depending on him to make the right decisions for an entire group and not just him or a couple of people.

I really like Carl now and I think this past episode did a good job of showing how far ahead he is of other kids, mainly Duane and how how much he's grown.As much as I like Michonne I just can't help but think shes the next to go, I dont know why but it just feels like it whenever she goes out...she's almost too badass to stay alive for much longer.

I hadn't even thought of this until I saw how Morgan had his block set-up. Seeing how everyone sets up has been one of the more interesting things to me. Spears would be a perfect idea!

Cool episode, they need to do that every 3rd or 4th episode so locations dont get stale. Get a smaller group out together and get some character development going. Pretty good to finally see Michonne get some quality screen time, but I thought she was a goner because of it. Oh and forget about baby food, we need to get the kid a crib!!

Michonne could have, and probably did spear some of them with her Katana. Which brings me back to the fenceline at the prison. Why don't they call over the zombies and kill them like they did when they took over the prison. Might take a few days, but eventually they'd have cleared much of the yard. Anyway, love the Morgan return. He's one of the strongest actors they have, hope that's not the last we see of him.

Good question .. Seemed like regret on his face as he saw the backpack after seeing the mangled remains..

I figured they would do this if they didnt have to worry about being shot while theyre out there. I guess they can also serve as a defense for when/ if anyone from Woodbury come creeping up.
