They were reinforcing the damaged section of fence while the zombies were away. It only needed to be temporary. The thing that bugged me about thepart was.. It's only a temporary move.. once the pigs are consumed the dead will return to the fence. Rick's look over to the fence seeing the dead back at it was a
moment.

Might help for that one part of the fence.. But there is a lot of fence area, and I doubt they can reinforce the entire length.. again, just a small nit pick..I think they're talking about building a better mouse trap at the fence. Leading them into the woods seems like a much better idea than what Rick did, but he had to do it on a moment's notice. I thought he was going to move one of those spiked barricades under the section of fence that was failing so that when the walkers pushed through they'd all be impaled. That would've been so much cooler. They were reinforcing the damaged section of fence while the zombies were away. It only needed to be temporary. The thing that bugged me about thepart was.. yea, that is aI think the point of this weeks episode is that no matter what they do, there is no way to reach homeostasis. No way to reach security. No chance at rebuilding. We all have ideas about how to get there, but the writers want to dispel this notion IMO.
Setting up the necessity to leave the prison and the realization that no matter where you go there is no "safe spot" be it natural disease, walking dead, or another Human intent on destruction you always need to be on guard..Game of Thrones is based on a book in a fantasy world yet you don't have these kinds of logic issues on a weekly basis. The zombie apocalypse can be a done in much more believable manner. Obviously the makers of the show don't care and are happy to produce Land of the Lost with zombies.I can't stand it when implausible things happen in zombie shows.I mean it's a show about zombies based on a comic book, it's so unrealistic. When I watch a superman movie, I find it ridiculous that a man can fly.
Carol is ####ed up. It obvious she feels guilty about not teaching Sophia to defend herself but still it's ####ed up.Jeez Carol, they are still little kids
Or, call me crazy, make killing zombies that get to the fence a priority. It's rather stupid that these people sit around twiddling their thumbs when they destroy zombies at the fence very quickly when they want to.They were reinforcing the damaged section of fence while the zombies were away. What direction would you like them to move? They need to move #### in another direction and fast or they're losing me.
I think it's pretty obvious that Lori is the one feeding the zombies. I can't wait until the group finds out that she's still alive
Rick is the only one working on anything. Darryl goes out and brings back deer every once in awhile and Marchonne comes back in for news and supplies every couple of months. Everyone else sits around and talks about their feelings. You see a problem with the walkers at the fence...YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...it ain't going away. You don't comment, "Well...it's better than last month" and then just keep on farming.
Every hand on deck...get out there with sticks and take two hours to kill every zombie you can find.
Use that second fence line as your defense in order to dig a trench...can't tell me there's not one excavator or Caterpillar backhoe loader or something in that town. Dig a trench all the way around...about ten feet deep...pour tar in it. From time to time...open the fence up...let things come on into the pit...let them sit in there until there's a good number and set their @zz on fire.
Line the entire outside with those spiked posts that Morgan showed them....a freaking field of those things...along with broken down vehicles and stuff.
Lock your doors...ALL of them...every single door in the place...use keys to get anywhere and everywhere inside.
Have a freakin night sentry. Can't tell me you can't locate some night vision googles either...but I'll accept that you couldn't find any...but post someone each night...damn...you've got enough people for this nonsense.
Stop going off on your own...travel in packs of two or more always. Taking a crap...excuse me, Mary...hand me the toilet paper...thanks.
Where are all the damned dogs in the world? You can't tell me you can't find dogs...it's just dumb not to have three or four patrolling the fence-line. Not ONE guy with a dog...ANYWHERE? Stupid...it's just so zombie can ALWAYS sneak up on them.
Um, right before a fever kills themAnd when do any of them take a shower?!?!
That's the first sign of the virus. British accents. Next comes the bad teeth.Has anyone else noticed that Lauren Cohen's (Maggie's) British accent has been coming through in her scenes lately?
For example, listen to how Maggie says "changing of the guard" to Glenn at the beginning of last night's episode -- she says it in the Queen's English, not that of a south Georgia farm girl.
Later on in the episode, I noticed that she said something else with a prominent British accent, so she wasn't just jokingly saying "changing of the guard" with a British accent in reference to Buckingham Palace.
I thought of that too, but unless you have someone removing the entrapped carcasses, it wouldn't take long for you to have a nice set of zombie carcass stairs right up and over the fenceI think they're talking about building a better mouse trap at the fence. No reference to it in the comic book that I can recall. What was up with Michonne and the baby? Was that a comic book reference of some sort? Guessing she lost a baby at some point during the fracas?

The characters on this show are so stupid. If they were smart, they would invent a giant trampoline and place it strategically in a pit, so that when the walkers enter the compound they will fall into the pit and bounce right out and over the side wall. Ha ha! Stupid walkers.
Then they can just leave the gates open and pick wildflowers with their sweethearts outside the prison whenever they feel like it.
Didn't see that. Thanks #######Did no one else watch talking dead and see the trailer for next week? The army of walkers off in the distance coming? And by army, it was literally over 7000 of them.
Has anybody seen this trailer on line? I missed Talking Dead and have not been able to find it anywhereDid no one else watch talking dead and see the trailer for next week? The army of walkers off in the distance coming? And by army, it was literally over 7000 of them.

I love GoT but it has fire breathing dragons, woman who can not be burnt, and a few other logic issues. BUT the writing of the GoT puts anything in TWD to shame.Game of Thrones is based on a book in a fantasy world yet you don't have these kinds of logic issues on a weekly basis. great plan each bounce should loosen more parts and fly off.A much better plan would be to feed the zombies ball bearings. Then build a giant Acme electromagnet out in the woods. When the zombies get to be too much, flip on the magnet and the zombies will all get tanked away from the prison to the magnet. Problem solved. The characters on this show are so stupid. Can't we have an animal carcass laced with ball bearings in the area where the trampoline deposits the zombies? Then everybody wins!A much better plan would be to feed the zombies ball bearings. Yet to see any water deep enough to drown one. Doubt it, though.Have they established yet if a zombie can drown?
Are we watching the same show?Yet to see any water deep enough to drown one. Doubt it, though.Have they established yet if a zombie can drown?
The zombie heads in the govs aquarium were still snapping when they went on the floor, so I dont think a non breathing zombie has an issue with being underwater. Are we watching the same show?Yet to see any water deep enough to drown one. umm the little girl was feeding themI think the shows title "infected" had a double meaning.
Obviously, the pig flu is one meaning of infected. I think the other is whoever is feeding the zombies is an infection of the whole group. The group will die if they don't get rid of that infection.
I think they will solve the pig flu problem pretty quick, because that will not work well for a long-term story line. However, the question of who and why someone is sabotaging the group will be
a bigger issue over the season.
All that would do would create a pile of zombies that other zombies could climb on to get over the fence.Or, call me crazy, make killing zombies that get to the fence a priority. How are all these walkers making their way to this secluded prison in the first place? Rick's group wandered in the woods for months and never found it, yet they have hundreds of walkers showing up per day that need to be killed? All that would do would create a pile of zombies that other zombies could climb on to get over the fence.Or, call me crazy, make killing zombies that get to the fence a priority.
