I think the point of this weeks episode is that no matter what they do, there is no way to reach homeostasis. No way to reach security. No chance at rebuilding. We all have ideas about how to get there, but the writers want to dispel this notion IMO.

Might help for that one part of the fence.. But there is a lot of fence area, and I doubt they can reinforce the entire length.. again, just a small nit pick..

I think they're talking about building a better mouse trap at the fence. Leading them into the woods seems like a much better idea than what Rick did, but he had to do it on a moment's notice. I thought he was going to move one of those spiked barricades under the section of fence that was failing so that when the walkers pushed through they'd all be impaled. That would've been so much cooler.

yea, that is a Setting up the necessity to leave the prison and the realization that no matter where you go there is no "safe spot" be it natural disease, walking dead, or another Human intent on destruction you always need to be on guard..

The symbolism of Rick handing the kid back his gun and Rick putting his Gun belt back on was a good sign of it.

I think the shows title "infected" had a double meaning.

Obviously, the pig flu is one meaning of infected. I think the other is whoever is feeding the zombies is an infection of the whole group. The group will die if they don't get rid of that infection.

I think they will solve the pig flu problem pretty quick, because that will not work well for a long-term story line. However, the question of who and why someone is sabotaging the group will be

a bigger issue over the season.

I can't stand it when implausible things happen in zombie shows.

I mean it's a show about zombies based on a comic book, it's so unrealistic. When I watch a superman movie, I find it ridiculous that a man can fly.

Game of Thrones is based on a book in a fantasy world yet you don't have these kinds of logic issues on a weekly basis. The zombie apocalypse can be a done in much more believable manner. Obviously the makers of the show don't care and are happy to produce Land of the Lost with zombies.

I think Carl was the one feeding the rats to the zombies and getting them to mass along the fence. He figured by creating a threat there he'd help force ol' Pop back into action and get his gun back so he could continue killing zombies to satisfy his adolescent bloodlust.

Actually I like Judith better as the culprit.. But to carry on with your thought process to wrap this up...

Lori's soul entered Judith's body upon Carl's Murdering of Lori and thus Lori is out for revenge using Judith.

Every thing they do is dumb...I realize we need certain things to happen for the story to move along but damn...

Like many of us have said before...there's no reason why this can't be done more intelligently. You can still have slipups and bad decisions, because we know people react to pressure in funny ways sometimes but not every single damned thing they do should open them up to yet even more problems.

You see a problem with the walkers at the fence...YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...it ain't going away. You don't comment, "Well...it's better than last month" and then just keep on farming.

Every hand on deck...get out there with sticks and take two hours to kill every zombie you can find.

Use that second fence line as your defense in order to dig a trench...can't tell me there's not one excavator or Caterpillar backhoe loader or something in that town. Dig a trench all the way around...about ten feet deep...pour tar in it. From time to time...open the fence up...let things come on into the pit...let them sit in there until there's a good number and set their @zz on fire.

Line the entire outside with those spiked posts that Morgan showed them....a freaking field of those things...along with broken down vehicles and stuff.

Lock your doors...ALL of them...every single door in the place...use keys to get anywhere and everywhere inside.

Have a freakin night sentry. Can't tell me you can't locate some night vision googles either...but I'll accept that you couldn't find any...but post someone each night...damn...you've got enough people for this nonsense.

Why are they burying bodies? Drive them out of the compound and dump them in a ditch. Call me cold but the last thing that body did was try to eat you. Even if it used to be a loved one.

I really like where the story is going. Someone else mentioned the worms. I bet they're 100% the cause of the infection in the prison. The last thing they did as a group before Waldo dropped dead was a cookout. He probably ate a tainted cucumber or something like that.

For example, listen to how Maggie says "changing of the guard" to Glenn at the beginning of last night's episode -- she says it in the Queen's English, not that of a south Georgia farm girl.

Later on in the episode, I noticed that she said something else with a prominent British accent, so she wasn't just jokingly saying "changing of the guard" with a British accent in reference to Buckingham Palace.

I thought of that too, but unless you have someone removing the entrapped carcasses, it wouldn't take long for you to have a nice set of zombie carcass stairs right up and over the fence

A much better plan would be to feed the zombies ball bearings. Then build a giant Acme electromagnet out in the woods. When the zombies get to be too much, flip on the magnet and the zombies will all get tanked away from the prison to the magnet. Problem solved.

The zombie heads in the govs aquarium were still snapping when they went on the floor, so I dont think a non breathing zombie has an issue with being underwater.

How are all these walkers making their way to this secluded prison in the first place? Rick's group wandered in the woods for months and never found it, yet they have hundreds of walkers showing up per day that need to be killed?
