What did red shirt girl originally say happened to her leg? My damned phone rang and I deleted the episode afterwards without going back to rewatch.
Thought her leg was broken and was left to heal on its own without being set properly so that it was kinda crooked now. That was my impression.

Dufus girl said her leg was injured when some #### hit the fan and she was trampled upon by fleeing people at the orchard I think.

If I made that up I apologize.

So is everyone going to be pissed when this show ends with Rick waking up from his coma in the hospital and telling Lori and Carl he had the strangest dream. Then of course Shane comes in and shares a WTF guilty look with Lori.

I want it to end with Carl getting away and Rick dying in a zombie infested meth lab.

Oops, wasn't paying very much attention.

I thought the leg belonged to someone the couple murdered.

Was there some explanation about how the leg got severed like that?

(Could be wrong, but I remember a very clean cut that would be the doing of a human.)
Maybe this is the answer.

ON A FLASHBACK NEXT EPISODE 7, Sam's friend was bitten by a walker on her leg since she can't walk due to an injured leg. He tried to amputate her to stop her from turning but it was too late, walkers are coming so he killed her as mercy then she was eaten dead by the rest of the walkers.

I love the show but man they have some real head scratching moments in the writing.

Rick " Carol you had no right to made a decision about killing some one who might have been a threat for the group."

" You might be a threat, I do have the right to make a decision for the group so I'm giving you a death sentence."

"You murdered two people"

Carol " You murdered Shane, so I guess one's the limit?" "Oh kicking me out is a death sentence so does that count as your second murder?"

Rick "Get out and die somewhere."

Carol " ok bye love you here's a watch."

Whhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?????????

I just remembered that Carol is the lady in The Mist movie (Stephen King) that asks for help to find her family, gets none, leaves the store by herself and then is seen in the Army truck safe by the last standing guy. I doubt it would be paralleled here, but thinking about that would make me laugh if Rick is the lone survivor of his crew that makes it to a safe spot and the first person he sees as he goes in is Carol.

FWIW, I think the watch thing was to again emphasize Carol's growing emotional disconnect. Rick seemed upset about the missing couple. Carol thought that was because he lost his watch, so she replaced it.

Carol knew he was upset about the couple not the watch. Also did anyone get the feeling Carol and Rick might have sex in the house before they found the other couple. I just got a weird feeling about it when they were searching the house.

I don't really buy that as the complete explanation. Sure Rick is disappointed by her coldness but without Tyreese back at the prison ready to kill her I don't believe bans her from the prison.

In many cases, "I think" is short for "I read that theory somewhere and agree with it".

did that whole thing where someone was feeding rats to the zombies at night just go nowhere?
:wall: they answered it in that same episode
You have consistently said that it was the little girl (and I tend to agree) but multiple people have mentioned other options. It has not been definitively answered.
Have any rats been fed to the walkers since the pigs were killed? Because pigs hate rats.
You know who else hates rats? The mafia.

Rick should question Vinny Gambino.

Well then people are going to be asking this for the entire season because it has been answered already and nobody wants to accept the answer.

Thought this was a very good episode. For some reason it really resonated with me.

- Not idea why the alcoholic was being given such a hard time. I'm pretty sure he was putting antibiotics in the sachel as well as the booze. Made no sense to me to have Darryl lose it like he did over something like that. In a zombie apocolypse, I'm sure half the people would look for a way to find a way to block out what is happening.

- It amazing how people are reading so much into the leg. There have been a number of other scenes in the show where they show body parts lying around. The argument that some people think that the blond-haired guy took the time to cut her leg off so she would be zombie bait is hilarious. If anything, he clubs her in the head and rings the dinner bell.

- interesting how they had Rick look in the rear-view mirror not once, but twice to see if Carol was there.

He only lost it because he put people's lives in danger by refusing to drop the bag. I am confused at why all of the alcohol is gone though - perhaps we'll see a Justin Blackmon appearance on the show.

So the premise was that the landing they were on would collapse? That's the only way I see any form of eminent death threat. At the worst, you figure he gets pulled off with the bag. No harm, no foul.

Rick is a bad leader, poorly written by bad writers, played by a bad actor. Almost everything Rick does is a contradiction in itself. He scolds people for things he does all the time. He doesn't want to "lead" but he wants to make the decision to boot Carol instead of taking it to the Council. And if there was a choice to leave her, there were a million better places to disengage from her and give her an actual chance.

"I'll lead when it's towards what I want, irregardless of whatever else wants. Everyone else can lead as long as it's towards what I want, so I have time to dig turnips and mope instead of taking care of my kids"
Rick is even more of a #### in the comic books.

As for giving Carol the boot there, that's my reason why I think he was protecting her. If he brought her back then the council may have voted to exile her but in the meantime Tyreese would have tried to kill her.

When Rick wwas driving away looking in the rearview mirror a bunch of times, was he hoping Carol was following? Or not?
