***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread*** (7 Viewers)

It is weird not being a comic reader and still knowing various comic spoilers that are thrown around all of the places where people talk TWD.  I can't wait to see how they handle Sk8erboi at the Negan compound.

Read something online which I thought was interesting - if you watch the grave scene with Maggie and Sasha both women have their hands over their bellies. This is the second time there's been a potential foreshadowing of Sasha possibly being pregnant. First was during Rick's dinner party dream scene.

Missed that.  Of course, that was also the scene where I couldn't take my eyes off of Maggie's butt in those jeans.

I actually liked this episode better than last week's. Have I jumped the shark?
I thought it was really good too but I enjoy the set-up episodes quite a bit. If you give me an episodes with characters I give a chit about I'm pretty easy to please. This episode did that. An episode devoted to Dwight and him out on a road trip? Well that's gonna have me yawning and checking the clock most of the night. I don't care how big of a deal he is in the comics.

Wow Maggie taking ever Hilltop happened a lot sooner than I thought. They are really rushing this thing, Season 8 must really be the end.

Oh and :

:lmao:  at missing a zombie yet hitting a deer in the gugular.

:lmao: at roller skates.

 didn't even put much thought into it.. could have been the family loaded a car with everything they could grab and two kids grabbed their skates. Kids tend to do dumb things( aka I'll walk to Hilltop by myself with no weapons, whatever could go wrong). Of all things to question about in this episode, this wasn't even on my radar.
:lmao:

So bad. Least interesting character ever.
Well. looks like I deleted my post rather then edit it.. basically said that we should have known this was going to be a story building episode since the previews for this week only said "coming in the next weeks"..

Saying that . .. Tara getting more info on how the Saviors can be even more brutal then they thought should help get the 3 main groups together.

Why can't they spread things out a bit more evenly?  There's like 2-3 episodes each season that are great, full of action. Then the rest ####### suck.

I'm a bit behind in the episode, where are all the dudes?  I would have a field day in that coastal Aphrodite compound.

I understand the need to build storylines, but an entire episode of Tara???

Two episodes until the midseason finale.  Better be a payoff soon.

I think the purpose of last night's episode was to make the other sub-par episodes of this season look fantastic by comparison.

I thought it was great. We needed an episode to show the viewer, via a couple sentence anecdote, that the saviors are really mean. Like, really really really mean. Also to show that zombies have gotten really bad at their jobs. Nailed it on both counts.

What a riveting hour of television!

that was the worst episode in the entire series.
I thought last weeks took the prize but this was a snoozefest.

One thing that kindof bugs me, they mentioned it had been a little over 2 years since everything started but Tara (and others) are still fat.

so.. seeing as @packersfan disliked the Dwight/Daryl episode due to no interest in Dwight, he must have been on a major  last night....

70 minute episode to find out the Saviors kill to take control ... I think we figured that out a few episodes before but maybe some missed it..
The only item that could come back to "help" later is...

Natania tells Tara she and her people fled from the Saviors with nothing but the clothes on their backs. So how and where did they get that big cache of guns?

Tara can not carry a whole episode, obviously.  She's just not a good actress.  That was so boring.  And she is so not funny.

If the Saviors lined up their men and shot them, why would they leave that arsenal of weapons to the women?  The producers took great care in showing the viewer that they had a large amount of weapons and ammo.  I suppose those weapons will end up helping our gang at Alexandria.

But seems pretty stupid for Negan to leave them that heavily armed.. or armed at all.

Well, they ran from wherever they use to be to their new hiding place... My guess.. They stole them from an outpost..

But as I posted just above you, it is a question, and probably the only thing worth discussing, about the whole  70 minute episode.
