Unfortunately, very late - like after 3 p.m. ETWhen does the late start news usually come out?
I'm going with Greg Olsen over Heap. But, part of that is I'm already taking risks with Plaxico and Calvin Johnson, and somehow I'm a 9.2 point underdog with:Tomlin, Mike PIT CoachBrady, Tom NEP QBBush, Reggie NOS RBLeonard, Brian STL RBTomlinson, Ladainian SDC RBBurress, Plaxico NYG WREvans, Lee BUF WRJohnson, Calvin DET WROlsen, Greg CHI TEVinatieri, Adam IND PKAnderson, Mark CHI DEKampman, Aaron GBP DEBoley, Michael ATL LBFarrior, James PIT LBJackson, Marlin IND CBReed, Edward BAL SThere never seems to be any news on Heap when he is injured - for years running. My guess, based on his history and based on the fact that he had a limited practice this week, is that he will start and play, but will not be a very good fantasy play.I am keeping him in my lineup, risking the zero, and not looking back. But that is primarily b/c I don't have the roster space in any league I have heap to grab a WW TE to fill in for himIf I did have the space, I'd probably decide to roll the dice on a WW pick who I think will have a good day today.

Bo Scaife looks very intriguing off of a bye.I own Todd and he is on the bench currently.I have him in two leagues and I'm sitting him. I'll take a shot that my backup (Mercedes Lewis, Bo Scaife) does something and not risk getting a big fat zero. Even if Heap plays, he's clearly not 100% and might get pulled early or be limited in what routes he runs.
At the risk of making this a WDIS, I will make a gerneral comment to follow up my earlier one.Heap is a gamer and plays injured. Unfortunately, he often does not play well when playing injured. If I had the roster space in any league in which I currently own Heap, I would most definitely pick up a WW player with upside in today's game (if you are a subscriber, you can check out the details of the TE matchups) and I would play that playuer over heap. Now a complete opinion - FWIW, in the situations I have seen in this thread so far, all of Des Clark, Greg Olson, and Bo Scaife would be in MY lineup over Heap if I already had them on my roster. But, you need to think for yourself on this one - Heap injured is always a really tough call - he has the potential to grab 4 or 5 balls and a TD even when injured (it is just that he does not often do so in the games he plays while injured - he aint Shockey or Winslow).contemplating des clark over heap...

Nabbed Daniels of the WW this morning after reading up...after costing myself a win on the Westbrook gamble last week I couldn't roll the dice again. Looks like Daniels turned out to be a nice add!At the risk of making this a WDIS, I will make a gerneral comment to follow up my earlier one.Heap is a gamer and plays injured. Thanks! I caught this at 3:50 and made the change.I won, 2 passes to D.Lee with seconds left was the difference.per the blogger and the NFL Network.. Quinn Sypniewski will start in the absence of Heap and Wilcox. Rolle is out for a second consecutive week, which is good news for the 49ers receivers. (edited, missed Heap on the ticker the first time around)
