Huge news. I can't wait to tell my wife. She's always asking me to get her a cucumber when I go to the store, so I'm sure she'll be excited to learn about this unlimited supply of pickled,sliced and breaded ones.

 
Apparently they had a #beefsboozecruise last night, I made sure everyone knew Fred Smoot was on board and got a couple of favorites. :thumbup:

 
For those not attending the game (and those who not lucky enough to live near a Beef outlet), what are you cooking for the big game? I'm going with beef stew in the crock pot. Will cook all day tomorrow, let stew in the fridge overnight, and then reheat Monday night and watch The Beef O'Brady Bowl from my DVR (strict radio silence Come Monday afternoon).

I got an email from the East Carolina Alumni Assocation over two weeks ago saying there would be an ECU pregame party at Ferg's Sports Bar and Grill, Dec. 23rd from 11:30 to 1:30. Beer, wings, burgers, chicken breast, etc. $25 per ticket. It didn't mention free bowl tickets.

Thats 100% fair. But there are also a lot of people out of the office this week for the holiday and a bunch more who are out just because schools are closed.

I dont think this time slot is worthy of an Elite Upper Tier Bowl Game like the Beef Bowl, but at least ESPN knows people will tune in regardless because of the prestige factor.

 
I bought .5 lbs of roast beef at the market yesterday.... i decided lunch HAS TO be a roast beef sandwich at kickoff.
