Meh...Clay played a pretty good game.  Defnitely far better than last.

Two tackles and one assist and one bone-headed penalty that cost us a win, and that against a backup tackle for much of the game. I'm not seeing a pretty good game there.  I am going to respectfully disagree.

I don't think it should have been a penalty, but you don't give the refs the chance to make that call, not in that position.  It was stupid.

My only gripe is why run on 1st down when there was only 5 seconds until the 2 min warning.  Should’ve passed there run on 2nd and take your shot on 3rd down.

i don’t mind the play calling otherwise.  They came within inches of getting a TD and icing the game.  Had they ran 3 straight times and the game ended up like it did Pack fans would be screaming about MM being too conservative.  

Put the ball in your best players hands.  I’m cool with that.

Packers ran the ball pretty good at times during the game and once again McCarthy goes away from it. McCarthy gives a lot of lips service to the run game, but quickly goes to the pass game. IF Rodgers is switching the plays then he needs to be educated on clock management and not to switch to pass plays. 

People are all over Matthews for a very thin line call, but McCarthy needs the heat on him for a poor second half performance by this team. Win today and they had a great start to make some distance between them and rest of division.

I disagree when you have a below average running game and the best QB in the game it is.  If Kendrick’s doesn’t make a great play in the end zone they ice the game away, And I’m no MM apologist I think he’s overrated and made his career off Rodgers.

As a Packer fan I am getting a bit tired, also, of the announcers touting Mike Daniels.  Maybe wait until he makes a play.  Yeah, he had a good year in a contract year two years ago.  Since then, well not so impactful.

No.  It was a bonehead play.  He learned absolutely nothing from doing almost the same thing one week earlier.

Situational awareness.  That's the common theme.  He's a step slower and he hasn't and won't adjust to it.  It's hurting the team.

No dog in the fight but that has to be one of the worst calls I have even seen. Watch it frame by frame as the NFL does..Matthews is making contact just as ball is released. Plus it was a clean hit.  And I hate the Packers!!

Man, both team's offense and defense were playing great today but unfortunately, both are marred by late field goal miss.  I still can't believe we have another tied game in second consecutive game.  I mean, aren't the rule changes to OT supposed to prevent this kind of thing?

I don't like the "Aaron Rodgers fragile baby" rule either. It was overly called on both sides in this game. Use some discretion refs. You gotta look at severity of the hit IMO.

Calls missed on both sides. They missed a down by contact call that would have killed a drive for Minnesota earlier among the many many bad/missed calls.

They make rules and see what happens now.  Kind of like Nascar did about 15 years ago.  How'd that work out?

I do not think the call was justified... but neither was the "low" or late hit on Rodgers at the end of the first half that kept that drive going and lead to a FG.  He tackled him a the waist and did not hit him with his helmet.  I think both calls stunk and NFL needs to figure this out.  The officials are determining the outcome of games and that blows.

Also - I thought they were going to blow plays dead when offsides/encroachment penalty takes place.  The free play stuff blows - especially when it is specifically designed to pick up a pass interference penalty...  seems cheap to me.  Some will call it a "crafty" veteran plan.  If a false start stops the play so should encroachment/offsides imho.

I mostly agree Alex - It was closer, but I think they called it a low hit.  I could be wrong on that.  Either way - just like Clay, neither could hold up.  I think they are both no calls.

The game went the way it did because of failed blocking assignment on a punt and a field goal kicker who can't get it done.  I agree the play calling at the end of the game was insane....  Two ties in two weeks must be some kinds of a record.

The call against Minnesota didn’t keep a drive going.  It was the first play of the drive...and there was a defensive holding cal in that play too.

He's not getting into the backfield, getting sacks or TFL's like he did in 2016, but he does draw a crowd.  Opposing OL's are always focused on him, and it seems he never takes a play off, always fighting.

True.  I just want a splash play or two every other game or so.  Same with Wilkerson.  I thought he would be more impactful, but maybe its coming.

I'm hoping he maintains his current level of play when the Packers face the Lions.  The thing is, he will likely et things squared away again.

I thought cousins looked good yesterday, 3even real good.  I thought Trubisky looked as if he was developing the week before.  This is a rare confluence.  (Granted, it is usually the Bears dragging the group average down and not so much a Vikings issue, but you have to admit, this is something.)

I partied with a few of those Vikings back in those days.  The eighties were a weird decade, frankly no one was sober for the entire decade except those a-holes who really needed to get drunk and get blown, Donald Rumsfeld types.
