*OFFICIAL* W12 MNF Game Thread: Steelers @ Colts (2 Viewers)

How do the Steelers play from behind all night and almost never pass the ball? To make matters worse, they couldn't even run the dam n ball. Cowher and Big Ben suck. The Steelers are also morons for letting Plaxico go. That offense needs a deep threat. You heard it here first. There is now way this team wins their division or makes the play-offs. Chargers and Jaguars are the wild cards.

I just won my game vs the second best team in the league, by 0.2 pt. That puts me in first place. If Willie Parker would've got 3 more yds on that last rush, I would've lost.

The Steelers are a good team. They just aren't set up to take on the Colts. You need a more prolific offense that can keep up the pace. The Bengals gave them the first real run for their money. The Chargers or Seattle might give them a second. It just never felt that Pittsburgh was in this one. The way their offense was playing it felt like it was only a matter of time before the other foot dropped.Big Ben did not play well. Maybe he was rusty, but you can't put it on the line or his receivers. He wasn't very accurate even given time.

Great point! They are behind and stay with the run which was ineffective. Why not take chances by throwing??? They have that little faith in their passing game??

Steelers and Big Ben have never been about passing...I think they were being overly cautious because of Ben just coming backThat being said...running the ball wasn't yielding anything. They played to lose. Colts played to win and looked mighty impressive in the process.

Think the Colts would bench their starters on weeks 16-17? Interestingly enough...Seattle could be in the same boat if they have clinched their division and homefield by then.

Steelers are done. They're a running team that can't run the ball and they don't have a WR to stretch the field when they need to pass. Defense is still very good, but the AFC is tough and the Steelers need to win 4 of their last 6 games to earn a Wild Card...they won't do it.v Bengals, v Bears (split), @ Minnesota, @ Cleveland (split), Detroit (win)=3-2=10-6=home for play-offs.

Congrats to the Colts and their fans -- they were clearly the better team. As for the Steelers, I thought the defense played pretty well other than the opening play. They better get that offensive line straightened out -- they have been awful the past couple of games.

The oline wasn't great but did open some holes running the ball. Parker/bettis staley is more the problem. Edge showed how good he really is. The steelers d would get to the point of attack and he was able break tackles or make them miss and gain good yardage. None of the steelers backs could do thatwe need a lot of work thats for sure

I didn't see too many holes opened up -- looked to me like the Steeler backs were getting hit in the backfield, especially in the first half. They also haven't been all that hot protecting the passer for the past month or so.

Once again, I think that play-calling and decision-making by the coaching staff was a big problem.I thought the defense played well. 26 points against Indy in Indy is respectable. Especially when they were given the short field to open up the second half. That onside kick call to me was the worst decision of the game. Not only didn't it work, but it told the team, "I don't think you're good enough to outplay the Colts by 9 points in the second half." Bad move, Bill. The O-line was inconsistent again. This was supposed to be a strength coming into this season. It really hasn't been. They've had some good games, but not enough, especially in pass protection.I still think this team can beat Cincy and win the division. But they really need to change their approach if they are going to make any noise in the playoffs.
