One of his remaining years has a decent MI I could use, better than anything at that spot in 35. Cy Blanton in 35 is a pretty solid SP that I don't have room for :hey:

1B/3B/OF Bobby Bonilla available. Seeking pitching help. Don't care about IP, would prefer a lefty.

He's a useful little swiss army knife in that he bats switch and offers pop at 3 positions. I have a trade in the works that would probably negate his use for me and would create a need in the bullpen.

Doug B trades OF Gavvy Cravath

to

Mr Phoenix for RP Al Holland
ConfirmedI hate giving up my only real LOOGY, but his mild-to-moderate HR issues won't work in Fulton County.

What WILL work is Cravath's straight up stupid 1.111 OPS#. Yeah, he's a butcher and only has 302 PA's, but I'll make use out of every single one of them.

This is why Bobby Bonilla is available for a warm arm.

Note: I'm looking for a pitcher that, first and foremost, doesn't have severe issues with the longball.

Holland for me is tinkering around the edges of my squad ... but I can set him as a SetupA when playing in HR-negative parks to give any fatiguing teammates a break. At home, I can set Holland to MopUp, and he can take a few innings in blowouts. Maybe SetupB so that he can take over if any of the other RPs go over their counts.

I've got extra, startable bench hitters for sale. Not all wimpy slap hitters, either. Price is pretty much any reliever. Someone's consistently schatte the bed for you in SimLive? Kick 'em over here. Got an extra borderline mop-up guy that you could ditch for some hitting? Hit me with a PM.

Seeking:

LHP who doesn't have HR issues

Looking for a sizeable trade here, not one is off limits if the value is there.

My goal is to get either (or both of) a Stud OF, or very good starting pitcher. Possible options from my team include:

Matt Williams '95 ® 3B* Bench 100 358 319 23 65 2 .336 .399 .647 (127 AVG+ 159 SLG+ B/A+ Defense)

Tito Francona '59 (L) OF* 6 100 467 420 20 79 2 .363 .414 .566 (144 AVG+ 147 SLG+)

Jim Rice '78 ® RF* 7 100 742 673 46 139 7 .315 .370 .600 (120 AVG+ 156 SLG+ A-/C defense)

Chick Hafey '27 ® LF* Bench 100 418 367 18 63 12 .329 .401 .590 (117 AVG+ 153 SLG+ 14 XBH/100)

Pitching wise, Id like to move **** Hughes who's one weakness - the HR - will hurt in Fenway.

**** Hughes '67 ® 100 37 16-6 3 224.0 2.67 .203 0.95 6.53 1.95 (122 OAV+)

Ideally, **** Hughes plus someone for a very good starter / stud starter. If you have a HR neutral or negative park, he could be awesome. I have a couple guys who give up HRs, so it would be best for me to move the best of them and get value in return.

Seriously, how many days does it take to set up a team WHEN WE HAD A DRAFT!

Its not like you have to put a team together. You already picked the guys. It shouldnt take 3 Freaking DAYS!

:wall:
There are 4 open spot(s).
At least Pump has paid for his team and loaded most of his roster. Which 4 teams are missing?
I've got an iron in the fire, and I also see that Pumpnick is not done drafting yet. Figured I could "work the phones" a little longer since he wasn't done drafting.
