First, let me clarify by saying you can sign up whenever you deem it the right time to sign up. You're in a situation that extends far beyond pretend baseball.

But to address the bolded part: That's the dumbest and most agonizing part of this whole process, and its the one I'm trying to eliminate by being proactive with a requested time to sign up ahead of time. It literally takes 5 minutes to join. People have spent weeks agonizing over whether someone will make a pick in 10 minutes or 45 minutes, but when it comes time to getting the show on the road people inexplicably drag their feet.

First, you don't have a full team to enter today. And that's my whole point. It causes no more or less chaos FOR YOU, which is all you're worried about here. You're create more work for me by putting an incorrect team in the system and then me having to beg all of you guys to take those teams back out of the league and re-enter them correctly.

Second, there was plenty of notification and a clear explanation of the goal. I laid out a seven step plan for finishing the draft several days ago. Its not rocket science here, guys. We're finishing the draft on Monday afternoon, and we'd like to have people entered by Tuesday. That's really not chaos and its not half the hassle.

4- Monday will have a pick schedule. On Sunday night, I will take whatever picks are remaining and make a schedule for the picks to get us through Round 24 on Monday.

5- 25th Round Free For All will be Monday afternoon. I will release the scheduled time for the free for all when I put out the Monday pick schedule.

6- WIS league info will be made available on Monday. Please be prepared to sign up on Monday evening.

7- Divisions will be set by Tuesday and I plan to hit submit to start the season by Tuesday night. No slacking, ladies. You have been warned.

If you want to stand on principle as if we could fully understand your intent, Im not sure your point, but you win.

Nothing in there, imo (because I did read it) had me think that we could Sim Live before the season was submitted. If we didnt read the fine print, I apologize.

But even so, when you see this many people who would simply like to Sim Live, the same way we have for 20 of these, why not just do the right thing and just let us enjoy a couple more days of fun? I honestly don't understand this and really, it sucks. No better way to put it. For no reason.

We have a more complicated theme this time with the decades. When it's just a specific era, you can set that when you create the league and people can't enter teams with players outside that era. This league will require a manual check.

Right, that's what I thought it did.

That way we finish the draft, RnR approves the nice clean rosters without the confusion of people coming and going as they SimLive, then we have two weeks to go to town with the SimLiving. Everybody wins... except for the non-live crowd that gets their season delayed two weeks. But the people arguing all win.
