I don't see why it can't be a situational clock as a compromise for the West Coast. Z, chime in here. Are you cool with a clock starting at 7am Pacific?

I'd be happy to let my clock run until midnight Pacific.

Giovani Dos Santos MF Mexico

I was wondering when to take Dani Alves. Not sure how much playing time he'll get playing the same position as Maicon, but they might squeeze him on the field as a midfielder.

yea, they are different guys.

Related question, does a defenseman need to get in the game to get clean sheet points?

I get up at 6:30 AM or so and check my email / FFA at around 6:45 or 7:00 AM.While 7:00 AM is early, it's doable for me, although I wish that the clock at night didn't stop until 11:00 PM Eastern.Sorry bro. Working across time zones is tough. I just want to get this Mofo done.

Maarten Stekelenburg GK Netherlands

If the Dutch play like the Dutch, the ball will be in the midfield the entire game and he won't have to do too much.

BTW, I would have taken any of Guardado, Maxi, or Dos Santos over Mascherano.

But I needed an albiceleste on my team. It's highly likely they make it out of group.

6.12 Salomon Kalou - ST - ICoast

The group is brutal and they may not advance, but if Drogba is going to be worth going as high as he did, hopefully he drags Kalou along for the ride.

busy day - next pick will be tough

Diego Milito - ST - Argentina

(apologies if he's taken - did not see his name in my quick review)

How do you see his role with Argentina? Is Higuaín the odd man out? I think it's a given that Agüero doesn't start.I think I've seen Milito and Tevez play up top with Messi behind them instead of on the right wing in the three-point Barça attack formation.

Its a total crapshoot pick for me - a bit of a compromise as I expect him to see the field a fair bit whether he starts or not, and he's probably in the best form of any striker in the world these past six weeks or so. I needed a striker here, and wanted someone with a shot at scoring some points into the later rounds. I would have taken Higuain last night if he had been available.

No time to update things. Someone text me if I'm OTC.

I have no idea who to pick and probably won't have a computer, so I'll have to wing it :nerd:
