OK, LJ is FF cancer.... (1 Viewer)

Looks like LJ cant help my team. I really feel like he is dead weight, as the suspensions and poor offense make him expendable. I got one owner who wants to give me edgeerin james. Since I was going to cut LJ outright, Im going to take him up on it. Anyone have 1 good reason to keep him at this point?

Try trading him for your boy, LT.

Week 13 Oakland - 24th rush DWeek 14 Denver - 29th rush D

Week 15 San Diego - 18th rush D

If he's playing by then (big if at this point) he could help you get to the championship game.

He's been on the waiver wire of my 10 team league for about 5 hours. I just can't find a way to pick him up.

Traded him in my 12 man redraft. PPR

LJ and Ben Leber for Jamal Lewis and Derrick Johnson (KC).

THANK GOD.

I make a point of NEVER drafting players of low character and i dont care how good they are....high character guys only...

 Buy dirt cheap if you have the roster space. Even if he only plays a couple of games, we all know he can put up huge numbers at times. Those run defenses above are terrible. Once the NFL suspends him, his value falls to the basement, even lower than it is right now.

You must have a really short bench.

this is the tricky part. if you have guys you can start and then cherry pick your matchups with LJ, that is the way to go.i had to sell him cheap because i needed more RB depth.

I wish I could trade LJ, but I can't get anyone of value for him & it's a keeper league so I'll hang onto him. He's too talented to give away.

I just traded LJ, and a 1st & 3rd in '09 for Steve Slaton. I couldn't be happier. 5 player keeper, no more than 2 per position. Slaton now gets paired with Chris Johnson for a few years, to go along with P. Manning, Wayne and Boldin.

I gave up a 1st and 2nd in '08 and a 1st and 2nd in '09 to get LJ back in March, but it was time to cut bait. Not a minute too soon either. Less than 24 hours after trading him, the news broke of his second benching and the more recent assualt charges.

i would hang on to him in dynasty and keeper leagues. if he goes somewhere else or KCs situation improves he should have a few more good years.

I'm holding with confidence in dynasty as well. best case scenario is that KC holds him out the rest of the year which would bascally give LJ a litte more than a season off. While his age is quickly approaching 30, his wear and tear isn't all that bad. KC has to be improving (they can't get any worse). I don't think it is to far off to think that he could get traded in the offseason letting him go to a contender. Herm seems to think kolby and charles will do just fine when LJ is out of the picture. Why else would he continuously deactivate (other than LJ being a clown off the field). I think you hold in dynasty with confidence...redraft no, keeper possibly depending on your requirements.

If they put up good numbers, I wouldn't care if they had 100 kids by different women. :lmao:
