Didnt see a thread.  Making a thread.

I am trying to find some sort of knock off emulator for Intellevision games.  Such an archaic system, but some of the games are actually pretty good all things considered.

I have one of the NES cartridges with like 600 games in it.  Pretty cool for only like 40 bucks.

Anyway, if someone out there knows of the best  bundle of intellevision games I would greatly appreciate it.  TIA

I was the 8th person to pass Legend of Zelda in the USA.  True story.  OK, well, I was the 8th person to call Nintendo's "hotline" to prove I'd passed it and they posted my name in their "newsletter", which ended up becoming Nintendo Power magazine at a later date.  Anyways... carry on.  :D

I beat Tyson in 4 different states in one day while riding in a van playing on a small TV.   My claim to fame.

loved Intellivision back in the day. I played the heck out of Night Stalker

The Intellivision emulators I have seen on the web haven't been the greatest. I hope someone gives you a good answer.

If anyone is looking to emulate old arcade games, MAME is the answer.

So I pre-ordered the new intellivision 3 years ago? But I fear amico is out of money

Tron deadly discs is the goat

Love tron.  Night stalker.  Sea Battle.  Dungeons and Dragons.  Tower of Doom.  Burger Time.  Lot of the cool games I cant even remember the names.

I have Intellivision emulator running on RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi.  The games run fine, but without that unique controller, it doesn't hold up as well.

Despite having access to 1000's of old games and having a few hundred loading onto the Raspberry Pi, I always seem to regularly play around a dozen games that hold up well.  NHL 94 being one of my favorites.

God, I played the **** out of that game.

Not exactly what you're asking for but I started collecting the old Atari 2600 games complete in the box.

My collection so far.

*I've added more since this picture was taken

These are nice for a trip down memory lane. But actually sit down and play through most and you'll quickly realize how crappy these games are.

I had the Atari 2600, and a friend two doors down had Intellivision.  Then our friend across the street got the C64 in the early 80's.  Pardon the pun, but that was a game changer.

Good times.

yeah, the first minute with all of the old sounds is great for nostalgia, but after that many fall flat.   This does remind me that I need to pick up a proper USB arcade joystick for PacMan and Ms PacMan.  That game holds up, but the modern thumb-based controller lacks something.

I had Pitfall and Chopper Command patches.  :nerd:

Had Pitfall, River Raid and Stampede patches. My buddy had the KABOOM and Chopper Command ones. Lots of checking the mailbox back in the day.

I think one of the times my Dad got the maddest at me, I was playing Stampede and you almost couldn't even tell what was going on it was so fast, was just muscle memory by then. He yelled at me to turn off the TV and go outside. Now I wanna play some River Raid.

Gold Medal Games for the C64 might have been the greatest game of my childhood. The Diving was the best part.

Summer Games 1 & 2, Winter Games, and then California Games!!! (BMX, surfing, frisbee, hacky sack, half-pipe, and roller skating)

I have had emulators, arcade games on Xbox, friends with arcade cabinets, and I just don't think they hold up to the test of time.  The nostalgia is cool, but I can't get into these old games anymore.  Even old Nintendo / Sega games are boring to me.  I will play like a game of NBA jam, and then I'm like meh...  Spoiled by the new graphics, and online play I suppose.

I almost forgot about stampede. My favorite Atari 2600 game was Ice Breaker.

Agree with this when it comes to almost everything you listed but I could still play and enjoy the Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, Metroid and Kid Icarus. The nostalgia is just so strong for me.

This immediately triggered memories of T&C Surf Designs on the NES. Was always the gorilla on the surfing part, Tiki Man on the skateboarding part.

I've still yet to set up my Retron 1 HD (NES clone console) since buying it about a year ago. I want to max out Tetris on emulator before learning the new technique of moving the pieces by tapping the back of the controller
