Olsen/Gronk Trade Help (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to upgrade at the TE position (in my 0.5 PPR redraft league), even though I'm holding Olsen, because I have pretty solid RB depth and figure it's a good place to upgrade my starting line-up.

I'm targeting Gronk, and am hoping to ship Olsen and Devontae Booker away for him. Would you say this it too little/much/just about right? Were this your roster, would you just sit tight with my current set-up and completely forego trying to target Gronk, since the injury risk is there and his playoff schedule is rough compared to Olsen's?

I have Bell, M. Gordon, Ajayi, Hyde, and Doug Martin as my other running backs, for reference.

Any advice would be much appreciated, WHIR.

Wow that is a loaded backfield.    I would probably say that it is too much to pay for Gronk (though he is an upgrade).  You are going from the #2/3 TE to the #1 but Gronk has had his injury issues.

If it were me I would probably sit with Olsen and try to make a deal to upgrade my WR position by trading away Booker and one of your WR's.  I would think you could improve your WR position quite a bit (unless it is as strong as your RB's).

I would do that simply because you can afford it with so much rb depth, gronk is a league winner, that has huge upside everyweek, I agree with JT about looking at your wr for a upgrade as well

It's an upgrade but not a huge one.  I don't see it as an issue to move Booker for that upgrade but I wonder if you would be better served using that depth for a larger upgrade at WR (without knowing your WR's it's tough to say).  I do think if I was the Gronk owner I would have to be fairly desperate at RB to make that deal (I am not a big fan of Booker).

If I'm the Gronk owner I say no but for you I do the deal.  I might try to get a WR2-3 in the deal since Olsen is clear 2-3 ranks behind Gronk based on qb play and fact Car runs so much.  Gronk has been best TE since Brady got back and is league winner. Yes he had Denver in week 16 but Denver can be beat up middle / seams.
