Olsen & Woodhead on waivers, Worth my #1? WHIR (1 Viewer)

12-team, .5 PPR, 5-man bench league. I'm currently i 1st place and past my bye weeks. Starting lineup: QRRWWTFKD. My roster is below:

• QB: WIlson
  
• RB: Bell, Zeke, Abdullah, Duke, Drake
  
• WR: D. Thomas, Hill, Thielen, Ginn
  
• TE: Rudolph
  

I currently have the #1 Waiver priority and am debating using it for either Greg Olsen or Woodhead.... smart or see if either makes it through waivers and save my #1 priority?

I'd go for Olsen over Woodhead.  Baltimore's offense is still bottom half, it's not going to magically improve with Woodhead back.  Allen and Collins have been holding down the fort semi-well, I'd bet that Woodhead becomes a third RB head in that backfield rather than take one of their spots.  

Tough to say whether you should waiver him or wait and see if he clears.  Depends how well you know the other owners in your league

I used a claim on Olsen this week, but I think he would have fell through. But I was 12th anyway, so I didn't really care. I would not have used a #1 claim, because if olsen was that important now, then he should have been picked up the week before once you were set with your lineup for week 9. 

I held onto the #1 wavier spot until like week 5 I think.. I debated hard on both Fuller and Aaron Jones, but passed on both and then used the claim on McKinnon a week later. I had no regrets on that, other than the fact that I didn't wake up a 5am to add Jones because no one even put in for him that week, lol.  GL

Agreed on Olsen. Woodhead doesnt help you unless Zeke loses his appeal which is anyone's guess but Olsen has top 5 upside.

FWIW, i decided to hold off on using my claim and was able to snag Olsen this morning for free. 

I'm now debating if i should be dropping anyone for Woodhead... the whole Zeke thing might end up being the determining factor though.
