Once again Tedd Ginn disappoints (1 Viewer)

You must not have seen the defensive player's hands in between Ginn's hands, breaking it up. Give credit instead of blame.
I'll have to watch the replay again, but I didn't think the defender got his hands up for that pass. It looked as if Ginn could've made the play if he would've held onto the ball. I'll go back and watch...not my thread, but just calling what I thought I saw.
The defender definitely got his hand in there. No question about it.but Like has been said... an elite receiver still catches that ball.I wouldnt say Ginn is a disappointment. He's my number 3 WR and he got 100 total yards receiving. that's not bad. but it is disappointing that he could have had a 23 point game and came away with about 11 points instead.

Relative to where you drafted him and what consensus expectations were for him, Ginn has not been a disappointment this year. Far from it.

What I remember seeing is the defender going up and catching his shoulder pad as he reached in. Don't think he touched the ball, but there could have been an interference call, probably a good non-call, IMHO. It was not bad enough to excuse not catching it, but it was not an easy catch.

IMO, Ginn goes down way too easy to make the big play happen. Seems like every time he was touched, he went down.

Sounds like a lot of you think GINN has potential.

POTENTIAL IS A NICE WORD FOR HASN'T DONE ANYTHING YET!

Fantasy wise he had a nice line but I am a Fins Fan not a GINN owner.

He also had a drop on the final drive that was huge. He was lucky Indy was called for a penalty the next play.

Dolphin fans are tired of hearing about his speed and potential.

Be happy the finns didn't draft Russell. At least Ginn is a productive player even if he hasn't become a superstar. Russell is more expensive and looks horrible. Personally, I have seen Ginn improve each year and that is what you want to see. Last week his QBs missed him on two bombs where he got open deep but everyone is focused on the one he dropped this week.

Guy is in his 3rd year coming off a double digit catch game vs a top pass defense. He's not perfect, but he's also playing with a QB that does not compliment his greatest asset either. Let's let this one play out.

He looked scared to death to me. That first throw to the end zone I'm sure he eased up because he was afraid of hitting the wall. He spent the night trying to avoid getting hit.

Yes Ginn needs to step up and catch that TD to win the game but it's downright criminal that he's averaging only 10 ypc. Pennington + Ginn is not a good combination. Throw in any QB with a decent arm and his YPC jumps to 14+. Maybe he never reaches elite level regardless, but he definitely won't with Pennington at QB.

Some decided this one on draft day, when Ginn had the nerve to get drafted at #10, instead of the obvious pick, Brady Quinn. Just think, the Fins could have had Brady Quinn instead!

Actually, I decided it a micro-second after the pick was justified by Cameron as being made because that way they got to draft the whole Ginn family.

I'd say he's about an average top ten pick. For every Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald you have a Charles Rogers or BMW.

Not a bust by a long shot, he's young and getting better. He's not "elite", but I don't think that you can really expect your #10 draft pick to be in the Moss/T.O/Larry Fitz. category in his third year (or ever, for that matter).

Coles averaged 14.2 with Pennington with the Jets in '02. Ginn averaged 14.1 in '08 with Pennington. IMHO, the Fins need Pennington more right now than they need Ginn.PS - Fin Fans are still waiting for Ginn's Punt and KO returns for TD's.

Well, remember that he is still young. I figure 2 years is what he needs to get to where he needs to be.We all are expecting him to be a #1 because he's playing in that role, but really he's a #2 WR (in terms of how far he has developed) and he is playing in the role of the #1. As he gets a couple of years older and puts on about 10-15 lbs, he will then be strong enough to fight off DB's and he will be a completely different player.... a legitimate #1.

Can we hear from the Ginn supporters?

Dolphin fans are tired of his continued nonproduction.

Supporters and Ginn are running out of excuses.

It seems that every time I watch Ginn he flashes his Troy Williamson-like ball adjustment skills. In addition to lacking in that vital department, he's not elusive and has below average hands. Unfortunately, I don't see much of a future for Ginn and have to imagine Dolphin fans are about done with him.

Seems like he needs to go to the Torry Holt school of concentration. I'm really beginning to wish we'd really pressed for Bowe or Boldin.

Begining? I have been screaming at this front office (who for the most part has done a tremendous job) to add that elusive piece we need...a big physical WR.....their answer was drafting Patrick Turner in the 3rd round. I can only hope he has a major upside that the coaches and front office sees that we the fan can't....because he has not sniffed the field. We should still go after Boldin or Bowe next off-season...no question.

I have run out of patience with Ginn. I was one who felt he would take the next step this season......thought Henne would help him....the kid is average at best. He can't make big catches, runs out of bounds any chance he gets....goes into a fetal position upon contact etc etc.

Ginn was a mistake.
