Salary Cap Dynasty Auction League - PPR

Guys, 1 available spot in our Dynasty league. 28 man rosters with a 5 man developmental squad. Very Competitive and dedicated owners looking for qualified candidate to fill the slot. By far the best in depth type of league out there - 3 year player contracts, a rookie draft and free agent auction per season.

Off-Season Schedule:

July 6th: Slow Rookie Draft Begins

August 1st: Slow FA Auction held

I joined this league last year and have definitely enjoyed it thus far (despite my team probably not having as much talent as either of the new teams will.) The salary cap stuff is not complicated at all once you're familiar with it. Strong commissioner and good group of owners.

I may be interested....does Ahmad Bradshaw ($22 -2x) mean that Bradshaw has been extended twice? Franchised and has two years left? If players with 1 year left on their contract are traded, do they reset to 3 year contracts or stay at 1? What are rookies 'paid'? Sorry, glanced through the rules but they are pretty detailed.

The commish can correct any mistakes I make here:Ahmad Bradshaw's -2X means he has two years remaining on his contract, which is an extension (designated by the X). A player can only receive one extension per contract, so after two years his owner would have to either let him hit free agency or apply a transition/franchise tag. Rookies are paid according to their draft slot; The 1st overall makes $15; the 2nd overall gets $14, 3rd = $13 etc all the way down to $6 for the last couple of 1st round picks (doesn't go below $6). All second rounders get $5. All third and later rounders get $2.When players are traded, the remaining years on their contract does not change.

Thanks for the info. I think it sounds like a fun format and am interested in joining. So, all drafts are proceeding and payments made despite the lockout?
