One to cut....Burton, Davis or Johnston? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys, looking forward to another great year!

I'm stumped on a team that I have in which I need to cut 1 player to comply with roster limits. It is a keeper league, so I'd likely have who makes the cut for more than this year.

Jermaine Burton
Ray Davis
Quentin Johnston

Gracias and happy to reply in turn!

Ray David because I do not know who that is. So feel free dropping him.

Jermaine Burton because he will probably never be fantasy relevant. No issues dropping

I’d keep QJ because he is a freak, unfortunately he is a WR that cant catch. Hopefully he can figure that out.

(If you meant Ray Davis I’d keep him)

How many keepers do you keep each year? If it is a small amount (~3 or so) then it doesn't really matter as these guys would need historic seasons to be kept as a top 3-4 keeper. If it is dynasty then I lean keeping Burton and Davis and ditching QJ.

I think both Davis and Burton have more upside for this year even though QJ probably has the highest ceiling if he can figure out how to catch a ball.

I also think Burton and Davis have a higher chance of being useable this year - and that is where my focus would be. Davis looks to be the cuff to Cook with some TD upside if you need him as a flex. You can also probably trade Davis to the Cook owner if you really wanted to and free up the roster spot.

Burton has shown well so far and might get more burn if Chase or Higgins gets hurt.

I think I would rather see what Davis and Burton can be as we saw a year of QJ and it wasn't pretty. Could QJ turn it around? Sure but I'll risk it to see what Davis and Burton could be.
