Online Gambling for Fantasy Football (1 Viewer)

I use sportsbook.com for betting on NFL games and such, but I was wondering if there are any gambling sites that specialize in fantasy football. I'd like to join a high stakes money league, but none of my friends want to put up more than 30 bucks or so. Anybody know a good site for this?

There was a site three or four years back called BetOnFantasy.com.

They got crushed so badly that they shut down their site. I know because I was one who did the crushing.

My buddy Donny T. from Massachusetts was another one. :goodposting:

I think you should change the title of your question - there are lots of high stake online FF league providers - check threads and you will easily find them. Otherwise you won't get any answers because it looks like you are talking about betting not FF

What I'm really looking for is a site that allows me to join a public league with other strangers and play against them for money. I'd want the prize pool to be run through the site, not through some strangers who I am trusting with my money. Are you saying there are lots of sites like that around?

TONS - and in addition, both WCOFF and NFFC have "satellite" leagues that draft online for varying entry amounts.Again, if you research threads here you will find lots of names (I just don't know them all)Besides antsports, there is AFFL and Payday sports and lots more

Ahh, OK. I thought maybe you were looking to bet FF league games against the spread. Our software publishes a "Vegas Line" for each matchup.

From what I can tell CBS SportsLine has the best payouts. I played with them the last few years and won a few leagues. I got paid in a reasonable amount of time, so I have stayed there. They take a lot of the money, but I have looked all over and don't see better payouts from any legit sites. They have different levels Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Double Diamond all of different levels of pay in and prize payouts.

CBS Sportsline has the ABSOLUTE WORST payouts. They keep about half ot the prize money for themselves. The first place payout is ok, but unlike other sites, CBS does not pay anything for 2nd or 3rd place, no high points payout or anything else. Take a look at their double diamond league, which has their highest % payout (they payback 58% of prize pool here). 12 teams pay the $500 entry fee = $6,000. 1st place gets $3,500. No other prizes. CBS keeps $2,500 for themselves. Just pure greed. Any other fantasy site out there pays back almost the entire prize pool. CBS thinks they deserve half of it.That really sucks because I would love to play with all the guppies that join those leagues.

First of all, I play to win....1st Place is all I really care about. Secondly, where are all of these other sites you mention? Do they have Live Scoring, Stats, and everything else CBS Sportsline has to offer? Or the sheer volume of people on there? I can pretty much find a draft date and time anytime I want. From what I can tell from any other site is that you can barely find anyone to play for the higher dollar amounts, and getting those that do want to play together for a draft is a nightmare. With sportsline it's easy, I can always find leagues, they have awesome live scoring, and I know I get paid. If there are better alternatives, please just tell me what they are.

check out CBSthey have $50,$100,$200 and $500 public leagues. I have played in a $100 league the past 3 years and like the set up. 12 teams but only 4 teams make the playoffs

Hey, I play to win as well. But wouldn't you still prefer to get a prize for 2nd or 3rd place if that's where you end up as opposed to nothing at all? The money is significant and definitely adds up if you are in several leagues. Check out this comparison at RTSports between them and CBS: RTS vs. CBS payouts. There are several other popular sites listed in this thread and others that have even higher payouts than RTS.

As for live scoring, stats, etc... yes almost all of the other sites offer everything CBS has to offer, just a different look and feel to the site. The only thing these sites are lacking are the sheer volume of players that CBS has, but there are still plenty of leagues to choose from if you are willing to look around a little.

Thanks for the link. I'll definitely check them out. My previous experience is that many of these places say they offer all of these things and then you find out just how difficult it is to manage or find the draft times that you want, etc. But I will definitely give this one a shot.

They are everywhere. What type of stakes are you interested in. That would help us guide you. There are also "gambling websites" out there that put odds in the pre-season player vs player like "Who will have more rushing yards, Ronnie Brown or Cedric Benson" that kind of thing.

I run Phenoms FF, and currently offer leagues up to $500 in entry fees. My payouts crush sites likes CBS, with 95% payouts on $500, and 90% on $200 leagues. Across the board, my payouts are some of the best, with 85% on $100 leagues and 80% on $50 leagues.

I have a solid reputation, with many people from this board participating in my leagues. Check out this thread in the other forum: http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=321088
