Dear Wayne Weaver,
I realize you have a lot on your plate these days, I'd like to bring to your attention that you will likely not the make playoffs because of a single coaching gaff.
You have the absolute hottest receiver in the league, your QB is on fire, you have probably one of the most dynamic running backs in the game, you have a serious 1-2-3 punch.
Your team is being coached by someone who obviously has no understanding of how morale, or team mechanics works. The team practices hard all week to go into this game; I don't need to remind you that your team is 2-2, you are in the AFC. You know Indianapolis is going to walk away with your division. You have to play for the Wild Card, you cannot afford to lose games to NFC teams that barely warrant attention.
You just rolled two divisional wins in a row, everything was clicking, your team was being hyped and praised. This game was suppose to be a good close game. Your management decides to suspend the #1 in your 3 step combo, which effects the QB @ #2 as his sure fire receiver is now a rookie , which causes the #3 to get focused in on and you can't do much with a stacked box. Effectively, benching this one player has taken your entire play book and by replacing him with a rookie, set it on fire.
Obviously you want team discipline, this is understandable. Your management team has pretty much written your doom though. The players no doubt just lost any momentum that was built up. 41-0 is disheartening and embarrassing for a professional. 2-3 is a far cry from 3-2 as well.
I am going to give you week 6 against the Rams, they are decimated so badly even your secondary can control them. You have a moderate to tough schedule down the stretch though.

Most people would agree that this is a likely scenario, Miami will probably give you a run for your money, and KC could be a surprise if they ever get healthy. You could lose to Houston in another shoot out. You probably could beat SF. the rest of the games don't warrant a discussion.
9-7 Mr. Weaver... do you think 9-7 will cut it to make the playoffs with the Patriots, Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Jets, Chargers, Broncos, Texans. Those are the 7 other teams fighting over the 5 spots. I have given the Colts your divisional title. You are now 3 games behind, and they are likely going to win at least 5 more games even though they have probably the toughest schedule down the stretch out of any team, they get the Rams, Titans, and Bills. Every other team on there schedule is respectable and capable of winning close games or doing well in a shoot out.(I mean look at their schedule its a doozie down the stretch)
3-2 Would likely give you 10-6, you beat the colts against my prediction by a simple field goal you are 1-1 with points differential in the match-up in your favor, you could both feasibly end the season 11-5! 10-6 may make the playoffs. 11-5 could have won you the division!
By simply losing horribly to Seattle the Jaguars are now in a world of trouble, your team is lost, the coach removed a main part of the game plan and had no way to cope with it. Do you not think this could have been handled with hefty fines? Some community involvement? A large ridiculing in front of the team. Something that doesn't have an adverse effect on an entire season, do you think the players are going to point the finger at their fellow player and say YOU COST US THE SEASON? Do you want a player demanding a trade since he will be pinned as the scape goat? This is blatantly a poorly handled debacle now...

The Jags problems begin way back at the talent-evaluation level. JDR isn't helping any, but coaching isn't the only problem.
