Best system I've used in 20 years of playing FF. Each week teams can get anywhere from 0-4 points. You automatically get 2 points if you win your matchup. Then you get 2 points if you were one of the 4 highest scoring teams in the league (regardless of the outcome of your matchup), you get 1 point if you finished 5-8th in scoring that weekend, and 0 points if you were in the bottom 4 scoring. This is great for those weekends where you scored 180 points and only 1 team in your league scored higher, which happened to be your opponent. That way you still get 2 points. So again, you can score 0, 1, 2, 3, or a max of 4 points each weekend. Then at the end of the regular season, the 6 teams with the highest VPs make the playoffs (with the 2 highest scoring VP teams getting a first week bye)
